"Think twice before moving in~~
This place used to be great, but over time, things have really gone downhill.
I agree with many of the comments about roaches, frequent management changes, and constant noise from construction and/or from people partying at night. I lived here for 4 years, and while the renovations were nice, especially under Tessa (former leasing staff), the customer service has declined significantly since she and Bea left. Bea was amazing—she always responded quickly and resolved issues effectively.
After they left, it felt like the office's service completely fell apart. I rarely received timely responses to emails, and whenever I made a request, it was ignored or denied. Strangely, my husband would submit the same request and receive an immediate response or approval. This happened several times, which felt very unfair.
The roach problem in my apartment was horrible. I had exterminators come out almost weekly for months, but the issue was never resolved. Mold in the vents was also a big problem—not just in my apartment but in others as well.
If you do move here, avoid moving into a complex by the pool and BBQ area. It is extremely noisy with people partying until 1-2 AM on weekends and holidays. Management doesn’t do much to control it.
The pool is sporadically closed without any notice, especially on Sundays, which is really inconvenient. Strangers also seem to come and go as they please, as if they live here. The gates are pointless since they’re usually left open, do not work and never monitored. Not sure why they're even there.
One positive is the maintenance crew. They're fast, friendly, and always proactive—they definitely deserve a raise."
"The leasing team was amazing! So patient and welcoming. Not planning to move in until March, but Mayra’s exceptional assistance and the captivating floor plan made my decision easy. The property was impeccably maintained, and the amenities exceeded my expectations."
"I moved here 2 years ago while I saved money for the purchase of my house. I absolutely love the location!
The pool, grill and areas are very well maintained. I love the stainless steel appliances and the upgraded granite countertops. The washer and dryer sets make taking care of laundry very convenient."
"Had an amazing tour with Natalia! She did an awesome job of explaining the leasing process and showing me their beautiful community. As a first time renter I couldn’t have asked for a better agent. Can’t wait to move into my new home!"
"I would like to share my experience moving to Gables uptown. My family and I are really happy with the comfort of the apartments very comfortable and modern. The attention at the leasing office has been excellent and the common areas are in excellent condition. Highly recommended."
