"I've lived at Tiburon for five years. I like the location, close to my work, family, and stores I frequent plus easy access to Beltway and 290. Unfortunately, residents don't pick up after themselves or their dogs and kids leave trash in the courtyard. I wish they would build a dog park in the courtyard. Trash pickup is not always reliable. Management has changed several times but residents aren't notified. Maintenance gets to things fairly quickly most of the time. I've had no security issues myself."
"While my friend and I were living here, it was great. Good proximity to lots of good places to eat and shop, and the amenities were great. It wasn’t until we were moving out/moved out that it went to hell. First of all the rent raised $100 every year, and by year two we couldn’t afford it anymore, so we moved out. That could be understandable though, we got a good deal on our first year. Well there was this nonrefundable deposit that we had to put up when we first moved in. We figured that was going to be a security deposit, so no big deal. Well tell me why we recently got contacted not by the complex, but by a debt collection company saying we owed $750 to replace the carpet 3 months after we left. The complex never got in touch with us, just went straight to a debt collection company. The way fees and situations regarding fees were handled always seemed a bit sketchy to me when it came to this complex. Didn’t really give a chance to tell your side of the story, just kind of imposed whatever fees they deemed necessary. There was another time where we were imposed a trash fee because trash that was left in our bin was “too heavy” for the collection people to carry. So we ended up getting a fee for it being left in there, even though I took it to the dumpster the next morning. We got the fee that afternoon, even though the trash was already gone…
So yeah, I don’t know. It was great when we first moved in, and the building and apartments themselves were nice, but towards the end, the pettiness definitely started to show, which left a bad taste in my mouth. Definitely didn’t leave on good terms."
"I have been living here for 5 years and they have never done much about cars getting broken into or wheels stolen. I had all my car wheels stolen a couple years ago and was just offered some garage time. I just had wheels stolen again and when I called to ask about any possible footage that could have been captured, I was told that someone would contact me but they still have not. This is actually the third car in the same parking spot area that has had its wheels stolen from it within maybe a month or two. The gates are also frequently broken and take forever to fix. I will be moving after my lease is up. Please think twice before you consider renting here.
Update 8/12:
The person in charge of security camera footage still will not call me or even meet in the office and I have been calling asking for them since last Thursday. This feels like they are deliberately trying to avoid talking to me even though the response below said to call them. What a joke. They also will not let me rent a garage unless I give them a money order for it despite the fact that I've paid for a garage using a credit card on their website before."
"Do you know what’s upsetting ? I’ve only been living here 4 months . 4 months !!!!! And my car was broken into. There’s a security guard on the front "SOMETIMES" , cameras are only in the front there’s no security cameras in my building . It’s frustrating I can’t feel no type of emotions because I’m pregnant . Not too long ago, the downstairs neighbor had loud speakers ! I had to make a report luckily the downstairs neighbor stop and understood . I’m very upset ! Now I feel like I’m not safe where I live . It’s not the first time I see a vehicle being broken into . Cameras should be installed in every building for safety .
It hasn't been four months since I have been living here and ive had multiple issues also in my apartment I haven't report because I don't want to complain or be a karen. But this is frustrating.
I went to the office Saturday just for the manager not to be there, I haven't even got a call or the report being looked at. Don't worry , now I have to worry about being careful I don't feel safe anymore I am pregnant."
"The apts are nice, the maintenance team is awesome, the apt management has always been kind. Spacious rooms.
However the vandalism, with how much is happening here, break ins, cars, gates being hit…. Operable cameras could help a lot of these issues, it seems strange that this measure hasn’t been taken by this point.
This morning marks the third car this WEEK! We dont care what bids youre waiting on, esp with how much rent costs here."
