"Saddened by the appearance of this place, years ago a lady named Phyllis was the manager when my friend moved there and the place was nice, I sold my home and needed temporary place to stay until my new home is ready, I drove over to meet my friend at her apartment and after entering the property I see several cars broken down or on blocks without wheels, seems like management is not what it used to be, I'm aware there is a new manager , my friends apartment has a bathtub that is peeling and they wont get the tub reglazed, but im sure if a new resident moves in they would have it looking nice, sad how they treat long term residents. I will look into a safer more well kept facility. It horrible to see a place that was once nice, go down like this."
"The apartments are mostly okay, and the staff and maintenance are nice as well.
My main issue is there are many additional fees which are not reasonable in my opinion. After application, there’s a $300 “acceptance fee” which I don’t think you get it back. You will see in the picture also that although base rent was $1,335 for the A2 floor plan, I was paying almost $165 more to the apartment. There’s nothing spectacular about the amenities to warrant a $40 common area maintenance charge amongst many of the other fees. I also had lots of issues with pests. I am a very clean person, and I frequently had to kill roaches and house crickets. One night I was laying in bed, a very large roach climbed onto my bed, and I felt it on my body. It was awful.
The community is cool, I never had issues with parking or break-ins. It’s by a park and neighborhood so if you have pets/kids, there’s lot of outside area.
I mostly moved out because I was going to a different area and hated how much money I was paying for the quality I was getting since this is definitely not a “luxury apartment”. I would recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful community just make sure you’ve taken into account all the extra fees."
"I just want to come here and say how amazing the office staff at this complex is, they really take the time and effort to make you feel at home. Shakerra is hands down the most pleasant leasing manager I have ever had the pleasure of working with. Everyone is so incredibly helpful and kind. It's such a breath of fresh air. The property is beautiful, and I never have any issues with parking. Neighbors are also incredibly nice as well. Glad I found The Tribute, it's in such a great location as well!"
"Apartment locator here, still trying to collect past due payment for placing a tenant months ago. Have called and emailed multiple times and now it is 2025, still no payment received by my brokerage. Who do I need to contact to get this resolved?"
"After giving them a 5 star review. I’m back not even three months after moving in to let anyone trying to live here know that YOU’LL BE BETTER SOMEWHERE ELSE. The main reason why, is SECURITY! Someone broke into my husbands truck not even a month a ago at 2am and now it’s happened AGAIN today around 5:40am. They’ve broken his door, cut the alarm and wires and thanks to extra security that he has on it they haven’t been able to take it. This has happened while the gates are open all day and night long. We’ve made a police report and the deputy said “these people should worry about keeping their gates closed at night or it will continue to happen.”Neighbors have been robbed at the front of their doors. So, What is the purpose of living in a gated community when 90% of the time the gate is OPEN. The only excuse the office could give me is, “with or without the gates, people still find their way to come in”
There’s no security cameras whatsoever. So now, if it’s not in company of my husband I don’t feel safe going out with my 3 year old. We try to leave the apartment at the same time and arrive at the same time for our safety.
Second of all, you pay a $78 fee for valet trash and you “can” leave the trash out there Sunday- Thursday from 6pm to 8pm but most of the time my trash isn’t picked up at all or if I take it out around 7pm they won’t come and get it! My pregnant self has had to take the trash out to the dumpster multiple times when I’m paying a monthly fee for someone to do it. And third of all, there is ROACHES and house crickets coming out of nowhere, no matter how clean I keep it here. Disappointed of this place."
