"I was a resident here since 2013 and transferred to 3 different apartments. We always paid our rent on time. During this time as it was stated in my previous review, we had rats the size of squirrels, MOLD, we found baby rats in my 7 year olds room, and my daughter was sick from the mold too. We finally moved out in May, but because my lease ended in June we also paid them June even though we didn't live there anymore. Today I received a bill that I owed for pest control, turning my lights off before lease was up, trash bill for trash that wasn't picked up, etc. Jennifer supposedly cannot do anything for us. You would think that she would take into consideration all the things we went thru while being a resident there. Needless to say I love my NEW place! It's rat and mold free! ?"
"I have lived here for a year now and transferred from a smaller to a larger apartment. I really like the office and maintenance staff. They are always friendly and accommodating. After a year I can say I have no complaints."
"We were about to go look at these apartments because the price seemed great but after reading these horror stories and how they all mentioned the rudeness and unprofessional behavior from Jennifer, we've changed our minds! No thank you! This is why reviews matter."
"I usually don’t do reviews but I had to with this place. Let’s start off with my move in experience. I’m a 16 year old emancipated minor (a minor who is considered as an adult and removal of disabilities of a minor have been applied to me). I called them and the leasing agents and property manager immediately tried to do their best to try and get me into a place, talking to lawyers, district managers, anything they could to try and help. My roommate was getting evicted at my previous place so I was desperate. Within a couple of weeks, everything was set flawlessly. I paid everything online, set up a day to pickup my keys and sign my lease online. They were extremely flexible with me. They were the most sweetest and helpful individuals ever. Now into living 9 months into this apartment, I’m very pleased. It’s a quiet and clean property. I didn’t have a roach problem, I’m a clean person so dirty people probably couldn’t say the same. ? I want to give a very big THANK YOU to the Property Manager Jennifer and the Assistant Manager Ruth. They were the very best and so professional throughout my time living here. Also a big thanks to Tony and Edgar for also maintaining the property and working hard. Every work order I’ve put in they came quickly and professionally. Needless to say The Preakness is one big family when it comes to the staff. I will be signing an additional lease here for another 12 months when mine is up. You will have no problems if you pay your rent on time and are respectful to residents and staff."
"Like the oasis it is tucked within the rough and tumble of Cypress Station, it's a wonderful place to call home. The staff very courteous and address your concern. The manager, Jennifer is an awesome individual and makes sure you feel right at home. The maintenance team is on top of every request you ask of them and very thorough."
