"No safety, when I make a report of a neighbor knocking at my door late hours after 11:45pm. The office treat u horrible when you telling them about your safety. I had to move out cause my safety went without care. We all see on the news how #SonyaMassey lost her life after calling the police for help. The office should respond to the life safety of the resident, not push me away. I moved out because no one will help me. Also they was taking too much money off my account, and treat me to go up on rent, after I make a report about the issue. They keep changing office workers who were taking money for residents. They treat u nice till u in the apartment, then change how they treat the residents. When you make a report to them they will go up on rent. I live with them for 8 months. I saw a lot with the manager changing. Red flag."

I've had the pleasure of living at the Dacoma Apartments for several years, and I can honestly say it's been a great experience from start to finish. The property has always been well-maintained, and any maintenance requests I've had over the years have been handled quickly and professionally. It's truly been a comfortable and hassle-free place to call home.
Recently, the management team changed, and I have to say, the new management has made a noticeable positive difference. They are attentive, responsive, and genuinely care about the residents and the community. Communication has improved, and they've been proactive about making upgrades and improvements to the property. It's clear that they are committed to maintaining a high standard and making the Dacoma Apartments a top-notch place to live.
The common areas are always clean and well-kept, and I've appreciated the attention to detail in the updates and renovations they've done recently. Whether it's new landscaping or improved amenities, the changes have really enhanced the overall living experience here.
I highly recommend the Dacoma Apartments for anyone looking for a comfortable and well-managed place to live. The combination of great location, friendly staff, and the improvements under new management make it a fantastic choice!"

"Warning: Theft, ROACHES, deleted reviews, and Safety Concerns at The Dacoma Apartments
I’ve had quite an eye-opening experience while living at The Dacoma, and it’s only fair to share my honest review with potential residents. October 2, 2024 around 1pm I watched a maintenance worker who is employed by the complex attempting to steal from the back of a resident’s truck in broad daylight. This happened near the trash area by the loading dock, and thankfully, the truck’s owner had locked his toolbox was stored—otherwise, it would’ve been stolen. I watched him try to discreetly steal from it several times before finally giving up once a resident walked out with his daughter.
This experience taught me that theft here is often an inside job. So, if you’re thinking the gates will protect you from outsiders breaking in to steal your belongings, think again. In my experience, it’s the very people working here who are responsible.
Another red flag I regret ignoring during my tour was seeing that almost every resident had a Ring camera outside their door. This is because package theft is rampant in the building. Residents feel the need to monitor their front doors constantly, which tells you everything you need to know about security here.
Speaking of security, there’s a huge safety concern with the way the water system is set up—it’s electrically pumped. So if a hurricane, tornado, or tropical storm hits and the power goes out, you’ll also be without water for days. This happened during the last storm, and residents were left without water for up to five days. Since you need an electric key fob to enter the building, you may end up trapped outside your apartment unless someone props the door open, which also invites security risks because if you can get in, so can anyone else.
Now let’s talk about the roach problem. Management has deleted reviews from residents complaining about roach infestations in the apartments. The very first night I moved in I saw a roach in the apartment and later I saw roaches in the hallways of the complex. The root of the issue is the uncleanliness of many residents, who leave trash and even animal droppings sitting in the hallways for hours, sometimes days. This results in a horrible smell in the halls, and management seems to turn a blind eye.
In summary, between the theft, poor hygiene, roach issues, and safety risks during emergencies, The Dacoma has serious problems that prospective residents should know about before considering a move here."
"Best place we have lived at so far. Friendly staff, listen to our concerns. Maintenance works fast. I have put a work order on Monday and by Friday they fixed it. Other places I had to go several times to remind them about issues. No pest issues, and very quiet living environment.
Zanesha has been very helpful when we were moving in and even after listening to my concerns. Selena was so helpful going through the tour and explaining the application process. We love it!"
"We had went for a full walk through, same day send in the information for the application process. We had received a welcome letter and everything, They then called and said that in our credit report had a balance due of $700 needed to be paid off before we could move forward, We asked what the $700 balance was from because we didn’t even know about the and they didn’t tell us. We later found the balance and assured them it would be paid off on Friday and they said that that would be okay. They said it was okay, they ran my credit more than four times dropping my balance and then after a week of waiting they sent a email saying we got denied for credit issues when we never had any credit issues and the debit that needed to be paid was paid off.
They took the $300 for application fees and then ran off with the money."
