"I recommend living here is affordable and they fixed everything on the apartment when I requested. Carlos and Valeria are really good landlords. I was lucky to had the lake view and me and my cat will love to wake up to that and loved the cozy apartment. The bad things I experienced was that you need have security camaras because they tend to be burglers roaming around and you always hear like random gun shots at night, also when I was there they found 2 dead bodies in the lake out of nowhere, it was scary to witness that. Some other tenants expirence a lot of car break in and robbery lucky that never happend to me. Last thing, you need to be very clean specially in the kitchen if you dont want the roaches to be everywhere in your apartment. Overall, is a nice place to live."
"I have lived in two apartments with the Breakers. I moved here because of financial struggles. I paid rent every month and tried my very best to be a great tenant. Still, I have been robbed and broken into. I have lived in both apartments where mold was present. I have a family. I have been patient, reasonable and respectful towards the Breakers. Quite frankly the only thing that deserves five stars is Carlos and Valerie who work the front office. God bless them for the things that happen at the Breakers. However, I moved out in June due to the break in. Greystar has yet given my refund. I have called and emailed Greystar including The Breakers. I write this review in hopes of change and for future tenants to know what they’re getting into."
"Im not the happiest tenant living at the Breakers at windmill lake. I have been sick since I moved into the apartment in snd out of the hospitals. I have all types of bugs in my apartment everyday the apartment smells like mold without my plugins. There is always shooting late at night and my car was vandalized and I now have to pay 3000 to fix it. The apartment is old and everything breaks in the united im so over staying here definitely not worth the price. I wont recommend anyone yo live here If I could possibly give these apartments of review Of zero stars that’s exactly what I would give them. I just received my invoice for my last Charging me $5000 they’re charge me for days that I didn’t even stay in the unit. They’re charging me for related fee. They’re also charging me for a $400 utility bill those days that I had already paid the utilities. Do not move here not unless you want to be scammed out of your money."

The absolute worst apartment complex you can live in near South Houston.
They steal individuals money, individuals who put their trust in apartment complexes to ensure their safety however, they only use them for a financial come up! They charge you for ridiculous expenses whenever you move out and if you don’t pay, they put it on your credit report until you do! Before I moved out and when things were going decent - I referred my sister to place but once she moved out, they did the exact same thing they did to me! Charged her $634 although she moved out on time when her lease was up, including $141 for utilities! How were we being charged $141 if we pay for our own lights, etc?
They also charged her an additional day of being there when she moved out ON TIME!!!
BREAKERS AT WINDMILL LAKES - You need to be shut down! The way you are doing these people who are trusting to reside at your residence, IS RIDICULOUS! Those at the front office, and you know who you are - YOU HAVE NO RESPECT. Do right by others if you wish to have respect given to you! You do not deserve a great review!
P.S., be sure to partner with better pest control units, your units are becoming filthy. Good day."
"This is the worst apartment i've lived in so far. They are bug infested with mold. Everything in the apartment is old and you can always smell the mold no matter how much you clean. Every day no matter the time there is always a bug crawling or even flying around the apartment. There are so many different bugs i cant even identify most of them. They have cockroaches, Wasps , Ants, huge spiders, casebearers, and so much more. do NOT move into these apartments and they do not do a good job with takiny care of these issues."
