"Had worst experience with this community. Especially with the current management. I have been living here for 2 years. I have always had small issues but those were resolved in one or two business days. I was forced to move out of my house over night that too when i was out of the country due to fire accident(which is not in my apartment). I had no choices left so i took lease again in one of their apartments. From the day one i had so many problems. First the ceiling used to leak. Later roaches problem. And i recognized fleas in my fleas. When i spoke with Nicole( so called manager ) she told me i brought the fleas into my house and she also mentioned she will terminate my lease. I denied at first because it was end of my semester and i don’t want to move here and there. She sent pest control to my apartment and told me i will not be charged but at the end of the month i was charged without any notice and later i tried to meet her in person to discuss about the issues for 2 months in row but she never let me in and talk about the issues that i have. Now i see centipedes all over my apartment. She denies my request for carpet cleaning and I requested her to move me to another apartment for a month(as i have lease for one more month) she denies that too. These people will charge you for unnecessary things without any notice and expect us to pay for it. She always blamed me for the fleas and centipedes and other issues as it my mistake. THOSE WHO ARE LOOKING FOR A HOME. SCOTLAND YARD IS NOT FOR YOU. And NICOLE and her management is the worst i have ever seen."
"My experience with Greystar was awful. After moving out, they falsely claimed I hadn’t paid my final utility charges, even though I had already been charged and provided proof of payment. Despite this, they kept insisting I owed them money. This feels like fraud or gross mismanagement. Their billing practices are unreliable, and dealing with them has been incredibly frustrating. I strongly advise avoiding Greystar properties if you value transparency and professionalism."
"❌❌❌ Read this before leasing ❌❌❌
Cons: Rude and obnoxious leasing office employees and doesn’t know how to treat the tenants properly.
No proper security for tenants or their property.
No proper payment system to pay the bill and they charge you late fee (10% of rent)because their system cannot process the fix payment each month.
No notification for the payment due which could have avoided late fees for so many tenants.
Sends incorrect amount of payment due at a random day of the month.
Packages are stolen from the front door.
No on time maintenance for any issue.
Washer and Dryers are mostly broken all the time
No proper Gym and the small swimming pool is only suitable for kids
Pros:
Apartment is decent but if you are still leasing after reading above then please also check on what floor it is on. They will assign you one at the top most floor."
"I wouldn’t recommend this place for even my enemies. The staff is horrible, I moved into 2 bedroom (apt #225), there’s a pod of water that stays in front of the door after it rains for days. This brings mosquitoes and etc.. you might have to jump this pod of water every time you enter the apartment. I have to swing my 3 year old inside the apartment every time this happens. When I added the issue in their move in survey, a staff member called me on the phone and yelled at me, disrespected me and made me feel I was wrong for mentioning the issue at all. Until today this situation hasn’t been resolved and I have to put in an xtra shift every time it rains to sweep the water downstairs and mop. The apartment downstairs (#125) has been vacant since I moved in, the back patio of that apartment absorbs a lot of water when it rains and water is stagnant at the patio as well which brings mosquitoes and other insects.
For the Utilities (water and sewer) which is added to your rent is a rip off! And no one will explain to you why the bill is this high. I live by myself, work 2 jobs and barely home. My sewer and water bill is always above $150 monthly. I have attached a photo of my utility bill below to check for yourself. This place to my understanding was to help low income residents like me but is not! You end up paying way higher than a more better apartment complex. Don’t think cheap to try to live in this place because is not worth it. You end up spending more that you think but live in this horrible place. The staff attitude is worst worst worst."
"One of the best choices for a peaceful, spacious surroundings and friendly atmosphere. Located next to astrodome."
