"I really loved this place , wish I could’ve had the chance to live here and hate to leave this review but it is very unfair what they did to me. I reached out to the property with a bunch of questions because I have been lied to and denied since moving to katy. I gave them a complete run down of my situation from credit , what’s on my credit , my job offer letters , being a victim of fraud , having proof of that fraud and not having the bank statements they claimed I needed because I hadn’t worked in over a year and I was still encouraged to apply! I applied same day she sent me an email address and told me to send all of my documentation in which I did immediately. I waited 2 days hadn’t heard back but I reached out to the property she told me they were waiting for the final approval and she’d keep me updated , hours later she reached out via text message telling me to upload bank statements she knew I did not have & then told me to wait until my first paycheck which is the 1st. I needed a place now before the holidays. If she knew I didn’t have bank statements and only offer letters why did she say the would accept it and encouraged me to apply after I told her how afraid I was to get denied again especially because christmas is right around the corner. She stopped replying to my text messages and straight up sent me a denial email with little to no explanation and still no text back even after I uploaded my bank statements from the money that I do make on the side which is more than enough still got no response. I was completely transparent & honest but still got nowhere with this property. I even asked to speak with someone higher than the property manager and still got no response. I pray someone above them can take a look into this and revisit my application because this truly hurt me to be lied to when all I did was be honest and all I wanted was a place for my family."
"Have lived here since March and 0 complaints. The maintenance man Ronny is amazing and so sweet. Elizabeth in the office is so nice. My street is super quiet and you always see kids playing outside."
"I have not moved i yet, but the application process has been smooth. I was able to do a walkthrough of my home today and was very pleased with my layout and the space of my home. I am excited to move in!"
"Where do I start, first off this “gated community” that is advertised is open 90% of the time. I could count the number of times it has been closed this summer. Now let’s get to the housing, first off water pressure is super inconsistent most of the time the water just barely comes out and you're stuck to deal with it for multiple days. The second thing is the water heater almost never works and you're stuck with ice cold water. The third thing is there's only one internet server available which is Centrix which always has issues. Mold is bound to appear in the house multiple times in multiple places in the house. The one thing that is good about the community is the maintenance guy (Ronny) and the front desk people, they all show a lot of respect and do their best to help out. Katy Legacy adverts “luxury rental homes” but it is most definitely far from that."
