"To maintain a pest-free environment, it's essential to keep your apartment clean. I’ve lived here for nearly five years across two different units, both upstairs and downstairs, and I’ve never had any issues with roaches. Over the past few months, management has made notable improvements, such as repaving the entire complex, repainting the buildings, and removing old trim. They’ve also been proactive in tree maintenance, trimming or removing any that could pose a hazard during storms.
For the price and location, Colony Oaks is an excellent place to live. The maintenance team is highly responsive, addressing concerns quickly and efficiently. Kaiwan, the security guard, is diligent, often patrolling the property throughout the night. Visitor parking is always available, but it's important to register your guests online to avoid towing issues, which helps prevent long-term parking abuses.
This community is relaxed, highly diverse, and generally quiet. Edna, Sandra, and Anna have been fantastic in addressing any questions or concerns. Thank you all for your outstanding service!"
"Do you like large roaches and snakes in your home? Do you welcome them with open arms and let them crawl into bed with you at night? While management closes their door and turns their back !!Well welcome home . Even if you mention these pests to the office their nonchalant response will confirm this is a normal occurrence. The pest control guy will shuffle by your apartment and throw a few “traps” while his pants are falling off. I’ve even got fleas from the roaming street cats. Which by the way look like they’re all infected in the face. During my stay they did fix the parking lot… painted over some rotting wood and continued to add more plants that attract large roaches into your home. If you need to do some laundry you’ll be pleasantly surprised to find at least one machine that works. They take their time to fix that too. It makes me wonder why the referral amount is $700… sandra the property manager is a demon , she steals from the tenants by overcharging on utilities, and has a personal contract with the tow trucking company, THEY TOW THEIR OWN TENANTS CARS!!! She needs to be held criminally accountable!!"
"Moved in close to 6 months ago & so far my experience has been pleasant. The apartments are a bit old but every well kept up with, I got stainless steal appliances with wood flooring (which is great since I have a cat). My neighbors are friendly and the office staff are super sweet and maintenance are quick. Definitely see myself staying here for awhile!"
"During the time I've lived here, I observed their polite and tight team work, it's incredible. Great maintenance. They communicate clearly and effectively at all levels and I thank them because it gives us a feeling of "home". Pleasant, comfortable and safe community for us all. They are knowledgeable and quick to reply to anything that needs repair or attention, and safety to our units. Thank you Colony Oaks 6666 Chimney Rock."
