"Dear Apartment Management Team,
I hope this message finds you well. I recently moved out of my apartment on December 30th, although my lease officially ended on December 31st. I attempted to turn in my keys between 3:00 PM and 4:00 PM on December 30th, but the office was closed early, likely due to the holiday schedule, as your normal hours is 5:30 PM. When I arrived, I saw a note on the door stating the office would also be closed on December 31st and January 1st.
On January 2nd, I noticed I had been charged for month-to-month rent from January 1st-3rd. That same day, I promptly came to the office to turn in my keys and explain the situation. I also have proof of calling three times prior to my move-out date to confirm holiday office hours. However, when I arrived on January 2nd, Diana refused to assist me in accepting the keys and insisted I wait 30 minutes for the manager, Ms. Melissa, to return from lunch.
When I spoke with Ms. Melissa, she assured me that, as a great tenant with an on-time payment history, the month-to-month charges would be removed. Despite this, I am still seeing the charges on my account.
In addition, I want to highlight some ongoing issues I experienced during my lease:
• When I first moved in, I was not provided mailbox keys, and I had to redirect my mail to a family member.
• The refrigerator in my unit was non-functional and caused a maggot infestation. It took an entire month to have it replaced.
• My air conditioning was also non-functional upon move-in and was only replaced after another month.
• Diana has consistently been unhelpful. For instance, I once called regarding virtual parking permits because the app wasn’t working. Diana assured me she would manually register my car, but a month later, my car was towed due to lack of registration. Despite our prior conversation, Diana would not take accountability, and I was forced to pay a $300 towing fee.
Given these ongoing issues and my attempts to turn in my keys on time, I kindly request that the month-to-month charges be removed immediately. I also suggest reviewing office communication and processes, as this experience has been frustrating and disappointing."
"UPDATE: 4/7/2024
SO I JUST HAD TO FILE A POLICE REPORT THIS MORNING BECAUSE THE FRONT COVER FROM THE GRILL OF MY TRUCK WAS STOLEN OVERNIGHT IN A LOCKED GATED COMMUNITY WHERE WE SUPPOSEDLY HAVE SECURITY ?? AND I CAN ALMOST GUARANTEE YOU THAT THE OFFICE IS GOING TO TELL ME THAT THERE IS NOTHING THAT THEY CAN DO ABOUT IT AND THAT NONE OF THEIR SO-CALLED SECURITY CAMERAS ARE GOING TO HAVE A VIEW OF THE ANGLE OF WHERE MY TRUCK IS PARKED AND I JUST PAID THESE PEOPLE 1300 FOR THE SO-CALLED PRIVILEGE OF LIVING HERE DON'T MOVE HERE BECAUSE IT'LL BE THE WORST MISTAKE YOU EVER MADE
UPDATE PART 4 (11/16/23)
WE HAVE ANOTHER WATER LEAK ?? same location as the last 2 times. Called maintenance, just waiting on them to show up.
Update part 3 (09/2023)
FINALLY got our mailbox key, (been waiting since April ?) still have issues with no pool/gym/laundry access, and gates work about half the time. Still no security, and no change in the amount of homeless people and random gunshots. Not much has changed with the new management company. But they are working hard to repaint moldy apartments so they can rent them out. Save yourself the time and heartbreak. Move somewhere else!
Update part 2: the Health department came out and the case was closed, but the problem still exists. Called the health department again to open a new case.
Update: 05/2023: new management, SAME ISSUES. Been dealing with ongoing sewage back ups (toilet paper and feces ALL over the parking lot for the last 4 days) they say they are working on it, but no progress has been made. I ended up calling the health department and the non-emergency number for the HCFM due to the biohazard. The only reason. We haven't moved out yet is not having the $ to start over somewhere else.

been here over a year now and the pool has NEVER been open, there are roaches and trash everywhere and they do NOT respond to maintenance issues in a timely manner . Hot water goes out at least 2x a month"
"Good afternoon i came today on February 10,2024 at 1:45pm and they were closed but on the website and on the wall said they open Saturday till 5 pm. Other I sigh the contract on February 5th and I’m so unhappy with this apartment. First the management didn’t want to show me my apartment and I had to ask them I’m not going to sign anything till I look at the unit. When I look it was looks good but I did not look specifically on the thinks and now on the same day water is yellow, stove, oven, shower switch and more other things doesn’t working and they already charge me for this month rent and I can’t leave in this unit with out stove, oven, shower so I send the email to the management Diana but they completely ignoring me and I told them if this things not gonna be fixed I need my rent money back because I haven’t stay there because of that reason so please help me to fix it or I’m going to take another step and contact the owners of this complex"
"I gave this a 5 star rating based on my stay at this apartments for a duration of 3 years back in 1994 when they were brand new and it was predominantly for wealthier type of people. What an amazing place it was . Now I see it's mainly for low income folks. Good times."
"Highly recommend to avoid this place! Cockroaches, ants, marijuana in the units, loud parties every night, yellow water with a strong chemical smell, and most importantly they have VERY UNPROFESSIONAL MANAGEMENT."
