"My Husband and I lived here under the old management (AMLI) between 2015-2021. Now, due to work, we’re back in the area, and our first choice was 2525 McCue Rd (Caroline Post Oak).A few things have changed — the clubhouse has been renovated, bikes now have their own secured room to avoid theft, and we noticed a lot more security cameras.
We’ve also encountered Officer Murphy twice already — once around 11pm when we arrived home from work, and another time around 10pm while picking up one of our teens from a high school program. Both times, he introduced himself and made us feel safe. Yes, AMLI had security before, but they were always either playing around or sleeping. Officer Murphy gave us information about his job, how to contact him if we ever saw something suspicious, and we even see him patrolling all night from our window facing McCue Rd. It’s a big difference!
We also noticed the hallway carpets are brand new, the walls are freshly painted, and the hallways actually smell like a 5-star hotel (something we definitely didn’t have before!).
This property Didn’t flood or lost power during Hurricane Harvey! Thats a PLUS!
When we applied, we were lucky enough to meet Mario Navarrete, our leasing agent what a wonderful man to deal with! We did everything over the phone and online, and Mario provided absolutely outstanding customer service. We told him we were former residents, and he made us feel like family.
The screening process was clear, fast, and zero confusion. Mario didn’t just help us he went out of his way to make sure our family got the best unit available (a 2 story townhome). At first, we applied for a regular apartment, but with two teenagers, we needed privacy! Mario walked us through everything and made sure our place was clean and move-in ready.
We love 2525 McCue we love Caroline Post Oak! It’s super accessible to everything. Trust me, you don’t even need to drive because the mall is just a few steps away. Fancy restaurants, a rooftop cinema ! you literally don’t even need to pay for an Uber for happy hour! Because you can just walk home
Great location, the property is VERY diverse, We highly recommend Caroline Post Oak and their staff. And if you do apply, make sure to ASK FOR MARIO! You will be Not disappointed ."
"I give the Caroline five stars because of the location, the staff, and the fact that they try and often very quickly resolve issues. All the staff are great but I spend most interactions with Sunny. She’s got the sweetest disposition and is always smiling. The remodel also is a plus for the common areas the residents use. It’s beautiful and comfortable and nice for parties. I’d renew my lease here."
"Moving to Caroline Post Oak has been an amazing experience so far! From the very beginning, Sunny made the process so smooth—she was incredibly kind, friendly, and always greeted me with a warm smile. Her welcoming attitude truly made all the difference and gave me the best leasing experience ever!
The community itself is fantastic—quiet, well-maintained, and a great place to live. Maintenance requests are handled quickly and efficiently, which is always a huge plus.
The only thing that would make everything perfect is if the package receiving system were different and more private. It can also be a bit complicated on weekends when no one is at the front desk, but I’m sure they are working on improving it.
Overall, I’m really happy with my decision to move here and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to call home!"
"I just want to say these are the BEST apartments I’ve ever lived. from the location to the maintenance team everything is great! Any maintenance issues I’ve ever encountered have gotten resolved quickly and the staff in the office does a phenomenal job of making the residents feel comfortable. I love the way they keep us updated about any apartments issues and any upcoming events. So sad that my lease will be ending in March and the only reason I won’t be renewing is due to me relocating to Dallas. Love Love Love Caroline Post Oak"
"Enjoying my time at Caroline. It’s clean, quiet, walkable neighborhood and the office is always keeping residents updated on things going on in the building. Maintenance is pretty quick as well. I do wish they had more updated access for guests and food/package deliveries. Once the office is closed, they can’t get in. Other than that, it’s been a really nice apartment."

I went with my friend who doesn't speak English to apply for an apartment at this complex. Sunny was helping us and showed us an apartment and told her that she can apply and that she can qualify for a special price through a government program. My friend made it clear that she is a waitress and makes 95% of her income in tips and minimal checks that are about $100 a week for a minimum of hourly wages. She also told Sunny that I have permission to speak on her behalf and will be translating since her first language is Spanish. Sunny told us the minimum salary and the maximum to qualify. She requested pay check stubs and when we gave them to her she questioned them and said they didn't show the deductions, we told her its a mom and pops restaurant and that is how the owner gives the checks. Then she asked for a tip affidavit to be filled out and notarized. Once we turned that in she then asked for the Manager to fill out a document that we couldn't see that is going to be emailed to him. We let her know he doesn't speak or understand English and she just looked at us with a weird look. So the manager filled out the information and she then calls us and says that she is making too much and now she has to pay $200 more a month for the same apartment. We spoke to the manager and told him that she made the mistake. Sunny called me and was very rude and said no the customer is not always right and was raising her voice at me when I asked to speak to a manager she said I am not allowed to speak to you I need to speak to your friend and hung up then phone on me. My friend spent $100 for the application and we spent so much time back and forth on this wild goose chase that Sunny put us on. So unprofessional and rude I can't believe the experience my friend is in shock that she was treated this way and Please my advice to anyone would be stay away. The sad thing is they have a gentlemen there in the office that is a spanish speaker. What a waste of time."
"I recently moved into Caroline Post Oak, and I couldn’t be happier! The location is fantastic, with The Galleria mall just a short walk away and easy access to all the amazing amenities in the Post Oak area. The staff here truly goes above and beyond—especially Sunny, who made the entire process smooth and welcoming. The building is well-maintained, and you can tell management genuinely cares about creating a comfortable living environment. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a great home in the heart of Houston!"
"I moved in July and am really happy to be here. The whole process was made easy by Cassidy, who was genuinely helpful throughout. If you’re considering moving in, Cassidy is the person to ask for. Despite reading some negative reviews before moving, I haven’t encountered any problems. The gym, pool, and clubhouse create a great environment, and the location is ideal, with quick access to 59 South, North 610, and numerous high-end restaurants at good prices—all within a mile."
"I do not live in this complex but I have to say that my experience with the leasing staff has not been a pleasant experience. My lease at my current apartment expires in September and I wanted to look for another place in the same area due to a flooding issue. I ran across the Caroline at Post Oak and immediately went to view them. The first red flag was upon entering the staff had me waiting quite some time and stated they didn't have the key to show me the 3 bedroom apartment. No problem, I come back another day with my girlfriend and they had us sitting and waiting before giving us the key. We view the apartment but it was not as clean as it should have been and the rooms were super small. After returning we wait to talk to the agent and she's sitting down with an older couple going in depth about the apartment, providing information and thanking them for coming in. When they left she was very short with us giving us short answers and telling us that's all. She pretty much ran us out of there and I thank her because we found a better property with security at the gate and a much friendlier staff. The apartments are not worth your time please seek elsewhere."
"After giving us the apartment in this condition they had the guts of charging us $187 dollars and not only that but they sent us right away to collections, like come on…. STAY AWAY OF THIS APARTMENT COMPLEX. I will post how we returned the apartment a year later in another review"
