"Allora Cinco Ranch Apartment Management started fine with ongoing emails and phone calls as we began the apartment application process. I am a Christian missionary who due to a chronic illness works from home. Due to this illness, which damaged my immune system and is not contagious, my doctor said I needed to test the apartment for mold, toxins, and bacteria. The management said do the application first, then they will request from their corporate office about taking these tests. It took over 3 weeks to complete the application. My application was accepted and a move in date was set as I had a soon coming move out date from my previous apt. We then began the next process of filling out and returning several documents requested by Allora Cinco Ranch for us to do the mold testing, which included a requested letter from my doctor. I sent them all the requested documents, including the letter from my doctor verifying I am disabled, and that these tests were needed. Then, total silence! Over the next 4 weeks my friend and I called and emailed the Allora Cinco Ranch office numerous times, but we didn’t receive any response! After weeks of hearing nothing from Allora Cinco Ranch I began contacting other apartments and found an apartment office that, without exaggeration, in just 1 business day accomplished and accommodated more than Allora Cinco Ranch did in 8 weeks, including giving me permission to test the apartment for mold before signing the lease and also to clean the HVAC! I tried to get a refund from Allora Cinco Ranch for the application fee, but again, no response. I knew technically the application fee was non-refundable, however, the way Allora Cinco Ranch mishandled my situation with no answers or communication whatsoever seemed like an exception because, basically, Allora Cinco Ranch took my $200 application fee and then stopped all communication, not giving yes or no answers, or any explanation, about the testing I requested, nor about the move in date, etc. Allora Cinco Ranch just left me hanging in the midst of being disabled and ready to move into their apartment and having a very soon approaching move out date in the place I used to live! Then I disputed the $200 application fee on my credit card, and it was then that Allora Cinco Ranch contacted my credit card company to oppose my credit card dispute and I was recharged the $200 application fee, this after still not hearing from any Allora Cinco Ranch office management for 10 weeks! I don’t want to be unfair or inaccurate in my use of words as this review is not for revenge but to bring awareness so that hopefully other people can avoid this happening to them. Some of the words that describe my experience with Allora Cinco Ranch are: 1) Incompetent 2) Uncaring 3) Negligent. Due to my personal experience, I do not recommend Allora Cinco Ranch Apartments to anyone! Because of my Savior and Lord Jesus Christ, I have forgiven the Allora Cinco Ranch Apartment Management and Company for their negligence in how they completely mishandled my situation. And I thank and praise Jesus for closing the door to Allora Cinco Ranch and instead opening the door to where I now live that has a MUCH MORE competent and caring apartment management office! Last words, Jesus Christ really loves us all, and, if He is not already, He wants to be your Savior and Lord!"
