"Let me tell you, the past 5 years have been the best years of my life living here. The amenities are top notch and the views of the ballpark are simply amazing! Christal and the management staff are always attentive to our needs and very responsive to any maintenance requests. There is a great sense of community here and I have made so many lifetime friends living here. We were very fortunate to retrieve a $70k 2021 World Seies homerun baseball that was hit out of the stadium as we watched from the beautiful sports lounge. What a memory!! I would recommend 500 Crawford to anyone that loves the Astros or is looking into luxury living. There are hundreds of restraunts/bars that are walking distance and there's always something exciting going on. There are also community events throughout the year which are alot of fun to attend. We have even run into Astros baseball players while living here while walking down the halls. If you are thinking of living downtown then stop looking because this is your place!!! ❤️ ⚾️"
"500 Crawford is amazing! I am about to be on my 5th lease at this apartment. The leasing agents, Riley & Kira, always go above and beyond to help with any questions! Christal is an amazing manager & she is very attentive. She always makes sure the property is in tip top shape and keeps residents informed. This is the best apartment I’ve ever lived at because of friendly staff, great amenities, location and top tier units."
"They told me they had no minimum credit and encouraged me to apply. After this I was given a tour that lasted less than 2 minutes and the guy quickly showed me the apartment but didn’t show any amenities. After applying they wouldn’t give me any information on the process. I told them I was in a hurry because I have a new job starting so I would like to know a timeline or get an answer so I could consider other places. After holding my application for 5 days they finally pulled my credit. They also didn’t give me an answer so I had to call. I told them I could even put down 4 months rent before moving in and then they later told me they couldn’t accept me because I didn’t have the credit they were looking for — but previously said they had no minimum.
They also said they would send a written reason why and after two days and sending 3 follow up emails they finally sent a reason over that basically said they had no clear reason but used my credit as main reason for denial which they said my high income would offset this. They told me the manager had final say but she would never speak to me on the phone or via email.
Additionally, look at the reviews. They have big rats. Had I known this I wouldn’t have applied."
"DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!! THERE ARE RATS ALL OVER THE PLACE!! Like in the halls. roaches! Smells like Dog piss, and they're really trying to call this place luxury and charged accordingly! I got the lease for 1 year because I needed to move out of my last situation, but after living in this place ,I would rather be living with crackheads than paying good money to live in this piss poor managed place!
You can live where you want, I really didnt care at the time I'm just saying this is what I experienced at this place."
"From the moment you walk in, you realize this is more than an apartment community. The whole team will quickly make this feel like home.
Espresso bar, great outdoor pool, and a beautiful resident event room overlooking minute maid park.
If you’re an Astros fan this is as close to the ballpark you will get.
I strongly recommend stopping in for a tour with sam or merick!
Cristal is knowledgeable about the area. She gives great recommendations when our friends are in town and want to see the sites.

"We’re preparing to move after living here for three years. For the most part we’ve loved it. My markdown in rating really has nothing to do with the apartment complex which we feel is lovely. Management is a pleasure to work with. Any repairs were done quickly. The amenities are great. Just be prepared for the noise. From our unit it became excessive and unbearable. From the daily church bells to the saxophone, electric guitar, drums, police whistles AND bagpipe on game nights, it’s become too much. There’s also a lot of car noise at night. We’ve enjoyed our time here but now we’re in search of a more peaceful environment. If you can handle the noise, you’ll love it here!"
"I came in and toured with Riley, she was very helpful and kind! The apartments were beautiful and the location is perfect, but her customer service really sold me on the place. Definitely felt like a place I could call home!"
"It’s coming up on my 3rd year renewal! All I can say is phenomenal. I am not ready to buy a home yet and this is the next best thing. Maintenance is on top of things. The office staff is awesome. Crystal the general manager goes out her way to make sure things are done right. Example I had just spent 150.00 to have my BMW detailed. That afternoon they power washed the garage. Let’s just say the Exterior of my car was so dirty. Crystal did not not hesitate and made it right. I was pleasantly surprised. The apartment is the best I have lived at since I moved to Houston. I’ve looked at other apartments. However, I will be renewing for a 3rd year. You pay for what you get. The only con is the traffic is bad during Astros games. However, that is to be expected. If you’re looking for luxury living with tier 1 customer service this is the place."
"I am coming up on my 2 year anniversary with 500 Crawford and would not live anywhere else in Houston. The location is terrific, the building is great and the staff is professional and concerned for the needs of the renters. Case in point, on a recent Saturday evening my shower facet handle broke and there was no way to turn off the water. I thought my issue would not be resolved until Monday morning but my shower facet was actually completely fixed within 2 hours on a Saturday evening. I was so appreciative of being able to leave my apartment and go on with my plans for Saturday evening. My 500 Crawford experience has been 5Star in all areas...Chris Wallace"
