"Unfortunately, I have to replace my Google review from when I first moved in 2 years ago. Aesthetically, 255 Assay is a beautiful community, situated in Redemption Square with surrounding trails and parks, which initially drew me to it. Since the complex was recently bought out by new management, my experience began to drop drastically. There has been reoccurring noise disturbances and vandalism inside of the hallways of the property. I lived in a 1 bedroom unit overlooking the pool which was nice overall, but the tiles in the stand alone shower are extremely hard to clean. Not sure why there needed to be tiles put on the floor when the walls already have tiles. The unit was not worth the $1800 a month. In addition, the leasing agent Kassandra, lacks the professional attitude and hospitality that the other leasing agents carry. After ignoring my email regarding my move out and her failing to professionally respond with what I needed to turn in along with my keys, I was not informed that there is a $75 charge per pool bracelet if they are
not returned. Never in the 2 years I lived here was I asked to show a pool bracelet at the pool and never seen anyone being checked for one. It would have been nice for Kassandra to respond to me with this information as a courtesy so that I could have made sure to bring them. This is not the first incident I have observed of her lack of professionalism and courtesy. I hope this review is helpful to others who will move out soon. I wish I could have had a better experience with my move out but I am excited to relocate to another property in Memorial City."
"I love every aspect of these apartments - especially the location, scenery, and easy access to stores, restaurants, and bars. The quality of life in the unit, the shared spaces, and everything else has been amazing so far. There are also events hosted by the staff and the community - there's cool, vibrant energy here :)"
"Michelle is awesome and the property is wonderful! Management hosts many events that are worthwhile. For example, today we had Wine Down Wednesday that included professional neck massages. Maintenance is quick, which is an huge plus as well. Everything is immaculate from head to toe. Brenda and everyone are doing an amazing job. You truly feel at home here! Please look forward to this community as your next home!"
"My experience has been unquestionBly amazing from the start. From the apartment layout to having great neighbors, 255 Assay has it all covered. With close proximity to dining attractions to reoccurring farmer's markets on the premises, food variety is a constant reality of this community. The gym and outdoor cardio classes are a staple to residents, additionally. 255 has so many amenities that cater to everyone's tastes. Cleaning services are discounted as well, for those we need some extra help. Coffee bar access for whenever you need a boost. I moved back to the Houston area after eight years away, and I cannot imagine anywhere else than 255 Assay. It's the community you'll love."
