"I had the pleasure of staying at The Vic at SouthWinds for 3 years and I must say, it exceeded my expectations in every way.
Team "The Vic," including Amanda, Tabitha, Cobi and Drew, provided top-notch service with warm smiles and friendly attitudes. Their dedication to ensuring a comfortable stay was evident throughout!
The Vic's cleanliness standards are impressive. From the lobby to the rooms and common areas, every space was spotless and well-maintained.
And the grounds! Meticulously manicured lawns and tasteful landscaping created a serene atmosphere, perfect for relaxation. I would enjoy looking from my balcony or sit at the park benches below so many a day!
Housekeeping and maintenance requests were promptly addressed, demonstrating the team's efficiency and commitment to tenant satisfaction!
I only left because we got our own place! Otherwise, would I stay here again? Absolutely ?"
"AMAZING community of people! Everyone is so nice, and I have really felt at home living here. Very pet friendly, and my 2 dogs love it. I was even able to get an apartment with a private yard for them to run around in!"
"Before today, I had a totally different view of this apartment complex and this review would have been the opposite. I had grown frustrated with maintenance issues that never seemed to be fixed. I contacted the front office and got Cobi- the manager. She personally came into my apartment to look at the issue then got maintenance to come by shortly thereafter. After they left she called me to ensure that the problem had been corrected, informed that she would also have the head of maintenance look at the issue as well, and told me to call if I had anymore issues. She was truly great and went above and beyond. There are unavoidable issues that you will encounter at most apartments. What set this complex apart for me was Cobi’s actions to get my problem resolved."
"As a current resident at The Vic Southwinds, I have to take the opportunity to give credit where it’s due. I’ll try to keep this brief…
The Property: The setup of the property is very nice and the amenities are great. The clubhouse is awesome, and equipped with a pool table and private office space if you need a quiet space to get some work done. They also have computers available if you need to access them. The property is very cleaned and well-maintained. The maintenance group had a very quick response the one time that I had an issue.
The Units: The apartment units are top notch. They are very large and spacious, and equipped with everything you need. It’s a huge plus when you have a washer/dryer already installed in the unit. The island seems to be approximately 10’ long and the tub must be designed for kids to swim inside. Lol! It’s honestly the widest tub you’ll ever see inside of an apartment unit as well as most homes. The apartment units have a very luxurious feel to them.
*Disclaimer: The only opportunity that the units may have, in my opinion, would be for drawers/cabinets to be soft closing. Other than that, you won’t find anything to complain about. It’s not major, but this would complete the high end luxury feel that these units already contain. (Just a suggestion, if anyone cares to know…hint hint)
The Management/Staff: The thing I appreciate the most about my experience at The Vic, has to be the level of service that you get from the management/staff that work inside the office. They go above and beyond for their residents. For example, accommodations were made for me during the furniture delivery process, as I didn’t want to take off from work to be there. The Manager (Cobi) ensured that my deliveries were dropped off inside my unit, provided photo proof of delivery to me via email, and ensured that my unit was locked after the delivery was complete. These things have to be appreciated, as this wasn’t their responsibility and they were not obligated to assist in these coordinated efforts.
Closing: If you’re looking from a great place to stay in the Baytown area, there’s only one option……
The Vic Southwinds is the place to be. Hopefully, my feedback can assist someone in the process of finding a great place to stay. I hope to see you soon!

"I’ve lived here for a year & sadly will be leaving soon but, these apartments are the best in Baytown! Beautiful inside & out! Community is amazing as well! Don’t get me started on the wonderful staff ladies in the front! The absolute best; Tabitha, Kelsey, Cobi & Georgina will never go unnoticed on their hard work & great attitudes!"
