"This is an amazing apartment complex. The management staff is super professional as well as they keep up the grounds very well. I have been living here going on two years and have had nothing but an amazing experience. The maintenance are super timely and very respectful of your privacy."

Even though my favorite part about living here are the pool and fitness room because of the cleanliness, any problem I have the manager Gabby is always quick to help me out. "i live here with my son. from the start i felt so welcomed with the leasing agent adri. she offered me water and my son snacks. too sweet. after that we were shown a gorgeous apartment with an open floor plan and a lovely kitchen. i love to cook, so this was important. next i was shown the parking area and the beautiful pool. i can’t wait until it gets warmer so we can go swimming. signed my lease that day and have been happy ever since. i felt compelled to write this review because i have never felt this peaceful and completely safe anywhere that i have lived, especially as a single mother."
"This complex is nice and at the beginning of my process I thought it would be a good fit but then something shifted and it started to feel like I was being asked for everything except blood in order to lease a unit here. When I told the leasing consultant that I had never been asked to verify so much she said they were different due to scammers after Covid. I understood and went through with the process. I was told to send over screenshots of my account to prove my income if they were unable to verify it in their “systems” the same system that never the id very link and I had to bring it in person. I uploaded documents over and over again. They begin to read things off my credit report to say that I may be approved with conditions it they didn’t know yet. After finally getting all the things they need the leasing agent said I may be approved with four months of rent down. I asked what were the parameters for additional deposits and she said she didn’t know but will send to corporate to confirm but she was thinking at least four months rent so sounds like someone just came up with a number. This was absolutely ridiculous as it was a way for them to discriminate against me based on their own biases. I then went not even five minutes up the road and was approved almost immediately for a lease. They sent all the necessary documentation to all listed employers, they located and confirmed my personal business, and went the extra mile to get my rental history just to find out the information on the ledger that was submitted to the agents at the retreat as I attempted to explain to both agents was indeed incorrect. They wanted me to get a ledger because they couldn’t do their job and contact the complex and find out where to send the rental verification. I was approved with ONLY a $350 deposit and I move in August first. It’s a nice unit with garage parking and wonderful amenities including a juice and coffee bar and theater for the same price of your units. I’d say this happens for the best!!! The leasing agents and management were nice and unfortunately we all suffered during the pandemic but people deserve a second chance at life. They made me feel comfortable and safe and didn’t treat me like I was scamming them. However, I’m telling my story because the customer service SUCKED. I was even told to go wait I my car as they tour someone else. As for Retreat at Westchase I will be fling discrimination with the Housing Authority and the BBB. Have a great weekend!!!"
"We have enjoyed living here for the short few months that we have been here. I recently had a problem with a money order and as soon as Gabby was informed she got it done quickly. I didn’t want late fees so she made sure I didn’t have to deal with those. Very nice and helpful!"
