"the constant management switch has gotten progressively worse. I shouldn’t hear how frustrated you are when helping me, that makes me feel like a bother which is why I don’t even like contacting the front office anymore. and the constant plumbing issues is crazy. my tub and bathroom sink is always backed up and it’s been like that for 3 years. also they sneak in fees with communication. I personally think there should be an email at least for any fees that are going to be new (esp the fees brought on/new with a change in management). whatever your base rent is gone ahead and add about 160$ worth of fees"
"I have been living at Milano Apartments for nearly two years, and overall, my experience has been quite positive. I did encounter one issue where a maintenance worker tried to enter my apartment without announcing himself. Fortunately, I was home and had the deadbolt locked, so nothing came of it. However, the office manager, Mickey, addressed the situation professionally, and I haven't seen the maintenance worker since. Since renewing my lease, my rent has decreased, and I appreciate that they maintain a clean pool during the summer and enforce quiet hours with security occasionally."
"Honestly I don’t even know where to start. This complex really deserves a 0 star rating. One of the most frustrating things about living at this complex is the fact that there are constant water shut offs. Most of the time I don’t even know about the water shut off until I come home after working 12 damn hours. Imagine working 12 hours and you can’t even take a shower afterwards and you wake up and there’s still no water. We are only two months into the year and I can recall at least seven instances where I did not have water for hours. The longest time was about 20 hours. I have contacted management about this issue so many times and they always give some whimsical excuse as to why the water is off. It’s funny how the water is off but whenever I contact the city about water outages, they have no idea what I’m talking about. Secondly, there have been times where maintenance has been in my apartment without permission or without notice. And maintenance is honestly a joke here. Let’s not forget about the “valet trash service”. I can’t even remember the last time they came and picked up my trash. The hallways smell like crap because they’re so much trash building up and sometimes there’s even furniture left over from evictions in the dumpster. People with pets are not held accountable for picking up their pet’s poop so you have to watch your step living around here. The car break-ins are constant. Oh and let’s not forget my favorite part, the roaches! Please do not move here whatever you do. They will still expect you to pay the rent with these living conditions and will not reimburse you. They don’t care about quality as long as they get their money."
"BEWARE. this place is NOT worth the trouble. I have so much to say but im gonna briefly sum it up. these people are actually scammers. front desk will be fake nice just to get you to sign the lease then they will act annoyed and inconvenienced anytime you have an issue or concern. Be prepared for the inconsistent rent payments (up to $200 +) because every month you’re hit with miscellaneous fees. they charge residents RIDICULOUS penalty fees for the pettiest things. I understand business is business but it really feels abusive. Front desk and the property manager are unprofessional , unhelpful and very rude to their residents. There’s Litter everywhere trash everywhere pool is dirty and the best part is your mailbox and your car WILL get broken into. hope this helps."

Cons: •You might wake up to your tires on bricks •You/ your children/ your pets may go days without water. •The gates work, and then they don’t. •The community center IS NOT open 24 hours.• The pool is green 80% of the time, and when it’s “clean,” it’s still green. •The property smells like dog poop 24/7; I stopped walking through it and took the longer route when checking mail. •Speaking of mail, your mailbox may get broken into, and the only way to get your mail is to go to the office. The thing about the office is that they’re never open, or they have random “meetings.” •You may have men peeping in your windows. •The left side of the property is filled with trash and furniture, which is an eye sore. •Valet trash is a joke. They must create their hours
PROS: Renewal parties have food and alcohol. They rarely happen, but I thoroughly enjoy them whenever it comes."

"I hate to leave negative reviews because I like to give people the benefit of the doubt. But I've given way too many chances to this complex. Something needs to be said so no one else gets stuck in this predicament. Outside of the spacious apartment I am in everything else about these apartments is horrendous. The apartment itself is the ONLY reason I am giving two stars. Save yourself the headache and do not tour or move in here. If you do wish to move in here, please get wheel locks on your car. I would hate for anyone else to be robbed like I was. The front office staff never answers the phones. Trust and believe you will not get a call back either. They charge you for valet trash service, and sometimes the trash isn't even collected. I've been here almost a year and have seen management and front office staff change every few months. It's ridiculous. The pool has been open only twice my entire time living here so far. I'm also fighting a battle of secondhand smoke from one of my neighbors that I have asked for help from the front office staff, and they have been ignoring me since I requested help. Don't be fooled like I was. Save yourself and live somewhere else."
"Milano Apartment's managment team gets 5 stars for the efforts they made to go above and beyond to move me into my new apartment!! They provided excellent customer service. Kudos to the property manager and the assistant manager - they are true superstars..which is hard to find these days."
"Exorbitant fees on top of monthly rent !!!
Be ready to pay over $300 in strange fees on top of the rent for your apartment. The total for a one bedroom can easily be over $1400 though they trick you into signing a lease that shows less than one 1k for rent.
These fees include an almost $50 dollars for a deposit fee which you are required to pay every month but you never get back because it is a so-called deposit free apartment. Makes no sense.
The water bill can be over $150 for unexplainable reasons.
Move here at your own peril!"
"Upon moving in I did have a few hiccups that I was very upset and concerned about and wanted to go ahead and terminate my lease however I really really had been eyeing this community and the location for quite some time and was devasted if I had to move. Key word "had" but thankfully Micky and her staff here at Resprop truly turned things around for me and I love my new space! Micky truly showed that she cared and addressed all my concerns and got everything handled and taken care of! I was truly in shock of how dedicated she was to taking care of my needs here. Johnetta assisted her and she is going to make a great Property Manager some day! Kiana was my leasing agent and she was very thorough throughout my initial sign on and addressed all my questions regarding my lease! I hadn't had much interaction with Tiffany other than when I go into the office to return previous tenant mail however, every time I visit to do so, she is always very pleasant! The maintenance staff is really great here also! If I see them on the golf cart, they always waive and tell me hello! Overall, Micky and her team have turned my experience into a very positive one!"
