"Ive lived here over a yr now and this is beyond disgusting. I understand your balcony is your balcony but this is a first floor balcony. I have to walk to my car from already 2 buildings away and this is what i have to pass by every time. Some consideration is needed, Its been like this since the beginning of may. When you walk past it holding your breath doesn't even work. On top of the spider problem. Building 15 literally has a black widow on the first floor stairwell with 3 nests. Its been there for a month as well and the building hasn't been cleaned or power washed or sprayed for spiders. I literally have to be so careful walking out of my own building because there are spiders on the ceiling and webs from the floor to ceiling. Normally they come spray or power wash and haven't. This should be something done all the time. Ive had to buy multiple cans of spider spray to do what i can but this is ridiculous. On top of the fans not working in the hallways of building 15 which usually helps keeps the spiders away. If you wanna enjoy the pool think again. There are so many spiders on the chairs and the umbrellas you cant even sit down… also be aware you do not have access to inside the club house anymore after the office closes."
"We have been living here for 4 years and we actually loved it at first and have not had any issues. But within the past 3 years they have switched management companies at least twice and it has gone downhill ever since.
The hallways and stairs are filthy and filled with spider webs and wasp nests. They don’t pressure wash them often, maybe twice a year.
Someone recently stole all four tires and rims from my car and left them on bricks and the office claimed they don’t have cameras in the area where my car was parked. They stated that they don’t have a manager in the office and there have been agents from other properties filling in and of course they say they aren’t liable. We hardly ever see the pct 4 officer who lives on property, therefore there isn’t much security around often. There aren’t any gates so anyone can come in and go as they please."
"I just moved into the complex three days ago, and the view is beautiful; my place is spacious and quiet. However, everything is filthy. The refrigerator had a foul odor once I came in, and I addressed it with maintenance, and they said it was because the fridge was off.How does that work? Yet, when I cleaned it MYSELF, stains, hair, and bugs were left in the fridge. The stove was just as filthy; it had leftover oven spray, making it white, and I found hair inside while cleaning it. Lastly, I was trying to wash my clothes for work, and guess what? I saw more dirt and HAIR!
I was looking forward to staying here and starting fresh in Humble for the new year. Yet the cleanliness here is not up to PAR; it is so DISAPPOINTING! WHOEVER IS CLEANING THE APARTMENTS PRIOR TO MOVE IN NEED TO BE REPLACED…THIS ONLY BRINGS THE BEAUTY OF THE APARTMENT DOWN!!"
"I would not move here. I have been staying at the complex since 2022 and they have only went downhill. First off, management has switch two different times. Initially I signed a lease at one rate. Once new management took over, I started to notice additional fees and charges. I then began paying more than I ever had for rent. Once addressed with the leasing office, I was informed they could only show me the ledger from when they took over the apartment. My original lease agreement was no longer available when I started to question the additional charges. Secondly, someone is constantly breaking into cars and stealing them from the complex. My building is located in the front of the complex. I have witnessed three different occasions with peoples car being completely stolen. I have had a personal experience with my friend’s car being stolen over night. Granted, they are putting up gates around the apartment but the buildings located in the front are still accessible to anyone. If you get a unit in the front, please request money off your rent because your building is not closed off, specifically building 11 and the one directly across from it. Thirdly, I have been residing in the same unit for over two years. The apartment complex sent out a mass email last week stating the following Monday people will be fined if they have privacy screens on their balcony. Keep in mind I have had the screen up for over two years and it has never been an issue before. My next door neighbor informed me they were fined $50 for their privacy screen. I immediately checked my account and seen I was fined as well. I reached out to the leasing office via phone and spoke with the property manager. She informed me the fines came from the new ownerships of the apartments. She informed me the apartment has not been following protocols and that is why so many staff members have been let go. I explained that I only check my emails if I’m expecting charges or need to pay rent. I was informed that there was nothing that could be done about the fine. I voiced my concerns with the property manager. I explained that I was only given a weeks noticed via email. I explained that prior, the office would reach out via telephone or past a note to each tenants door. I explained that there was no issue with removing the screen, I just wished I was notified prior to being fined. The leasing manager informed me she could see I never opened the initial mass email but opened the violation email. I explained to the property manager that I was notified by neighbors which caused me to check my account. The property manager still informed me that there was nothing that could be done and if she removed the charges for me, she would also have to remove charges for other tenants. Not to mention I had just went into the leasing office the day before to address charges that were supposed to be fixed over a month ago. I did not receive a courtesy or even a notice of the email from any worker in the office. My neighbors informed me that they don’t even have a lease agreement now. We initially signed for $1,240 and for some reason they are now getting charged $1,600 FOR A ONE BEDROOM. When my neighbors addressed the up charge in rent, they were notified that someone will get back to them.
THIS APARTMENT COMPLEX MAKES UP THINGS AS THEY GO!!!!!
Overall the property is not what it used to be. It’s very unorganized and staff is constantly changing. Small improvements are happening around the complex but it’s not beneficial to tenants and are only being put in place to up charge rent.
I will not be resigning my lease here and advise anyone else looking to stay at the complex to do further research and look at additional properties."
"I will say that new management is refreshing! I deleted my old review to write a new one! Lauren has been amazing! In 2 weeks, she did what the last staff couldn’t accomplish in 2 months. Her and her staff held a meet a greet & they were all very sweet and informative. I like that they’re switching the keypad to smart locks & seem to have a lot of good updates coming. Looking forward to my next year here."
