"Terrible experience. During my stay, I encountered numerous roaches, water leaks caused due to their negligence which they refused to take responsibility for, mold, and mildew. The management team, including Chantel Southall and Nia Bailey, was rude and dismissive, often gaslighting me when I raised concerns. The conditions were so bad that I had to sleep in my car at times. The gym is unsafe due to water leaks, and the entire place is infested with roaches. Whenever I tried to report issues, I either couldn’t get through to anyone or was told to deal with the problems or that they didn’t exist. If you’re considering living here, stay far away. The Beverly at Roach Lake is more suitable a Name. 0 Stars"
"Looks can be deceiving. I was so excited because this is my first apartment. Beautiful place. But it has a roach infestation & my new neighbors can confirm. To reduce the roaches in my unit I have called & requested online at least 5+ times for my unit especially in the kitchen and pantry to be caulked. I have seen roaches crawling in & out of the cracks in the baseboards, pantries & leaving droppings. I have had to become a roach expert living here. I have video evidence of staff entering my unit and not completing ANY task listed then signing off the paperwork as if it’s complete. This is negligent and distasteful. I have mentioned that I work 2 jobs & I do not have the liberty to be home to supervise an adult to ensure he does not fabricate lies & say that he has completed requests. Sad this is supposed to be my oasis. I’ve seen two overweight guys enter & stand around my unit passing time. Pathetic! I spoke to one guy on my ring camera before he entered that I need the kitchen caulked he spoke as if he would & didn’t do anything. They need to be let go asap. Morality can not be taught at that age."
"I've had the pleasure of living at The Beverly at Shadow Lake for a 1 year and it has truly been an exceptional experience. From the moment I moved in, I was impressed with the welcoming atmosphere and the professionalism of the management team. They are always responsive to requests and genuinely care about making residents feel at home.
The amenities are top-notch, with like a pool, fitness center, and activity center providing plenty of options for relaxation and recreation. My apartment itself is spacious, well-maintained, and beautifully designed with modern finishes. The layout is perfect for both entertaining guests and enjoying quiet time."
"I've been living at The Beverly at Shadow Lake for 6 months and I couldn't be happier with my choice. The apartments are modern and well-designed, with plenty of space and natural light. The property is always well-kept, and I love the amenities.
The management team is fantastic-always friendly, professional, and responsive. They go above and beyond to make sure everything runs smoothly.
Overall, The Beverly at Shadow Lake offers great value, comfort, and convenience. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to call home!"
"I’ve been living here for 3 months so I can leave a solid review. So far so good. I’ve made a couple of request done to my apartment and it was done in less than 48 hours.
Very chill and quiet. Cordial/ friendly neighbors. Well kept and clean. The best & most respectful maintenance! The wildlife and the pond in front of the complex makes living here more tranquil. I wish there was a bench to sit at the pond.
Lots of places to eat that’s less than 5 minutes away.
My only complaint is that I wish the staff would be a little more friendly. The times I’ve came to the leasing office I was barely greeted. There’s no sense of urgency and some have nasty attitudes. Upon moving into my unit I was not given a tour and I had to find my mail box on my own. They don’t notify you when you receive a package. Overall my experience here has been great. It would be better if the staff was nicer."
"We moved in a month ago and we really like it. The units are clean and spacious. The whole complex is nice too, and is generally peaceful and tranquil. The gym is a decent size for an apartment gym. There are two pools, they both look nice but we haven't been to them yet. The staff was very helpful during the move in process and made you feel very welcome. The only negative I can think of so far is the hallways could be a bit cleaner."
"Where do I start I've been here since 2022 in 2 different units. I moved from a 1 bedroom renovated unit in phase 1 to a 3 bedroom renovated unit in phase 2 and it's like all of the same problems are back again plus more. Immediately upon moving to the 3 bedroom i noticed signs of there being a roach infestation that they did a good job at hiding but the roaches slowly started to come out I didn't have roaches in my 1 bedroom at all. My dishwasher is currently broken it's been broken for 55+ days and now my maintenance request was just closed for some odd reason with no communication as to when my dishwasher will be replaced or repaired.. same thing happened in my 1 bedroom. A pipe burst in my apartment in the bathroom a few months ago and I don't even wanna say anything about that other than that my unit still smells musty after the lack luster cleaning that the carpet people did which took all of 10 minutes... carport tops are dirty with trash but we pay money for grounds maintenance. Loud pool parties at late night hours constantly in the summer time. Just save yourself the headache and don't move here. Communication is poor when it comes to issues and you basically get the run around unless you reach out to management. I'm over it. I just moved into this unit in April and it's still so many problems. Renovations look nice but all the problems that come after aren't worth it."
