"EDIT and upgrade on the stars. They really came through for me and I am beyond appreciative. My a/c was fixed/replaced as promised. Everyone came through and I have to say I am impressed with the way they followed through. In past apartments, I have not had much luck with that. Cami, the manager and all the staff seem to really be making an effort to make this a nice place to live and I applaud them!

My a/c has gone out 3 times in less than a month. The manager said she would have it fixed, but that did not happen. The emergency line is a joke. It's a call center and it took 3 phone calls to them and this last time they said no one was coming to fix my a/c even though it was 80 degrees in my apartment. It doesn't matter what the outside air temp is when your apartment is 80 degrees. I don't think the maintenance people know what they are doing and it seems they refuse to get a professional out here to fix the a/c. I really regret moving here and am really disappointed."

"First the pros: I have never felt unsafe here. Car burglaries seem to be very rare. The location is very central, and it helps there is an HEB with gate access right next store. Apartments are very spacious. My leasing application and renewing my lease was a smooth process. The staff when I arrived was very helpful and accommodating whenever I had issues.

Cons: Whatever you do don't get an apartment on the third floor. The heat during the summer rises to your apartment from apartments below and office management will only tell you to put dark curtains on your windows. Maybe more so of an issue because apartments are not new. No matter how cool you try to keep place during August / September I have nights where it's + or - 80 degrees and it makes it really hard to sleep. These months will also increase light bill because your unit will be working harder to keep your place cool but it really can't. Some people are ok with warm homes so this might not be that big of a deal for some.

I don't why or what happened but one day the whole staff was replaced recently. I submitted a request for washer leaking and 4 weeks have passed and no one can seem to even acknowledge me and this is why I have decided to leave a one-star review. This is extremely terrible and unacceptable. When I wash clothes water leaks all over my bathroom. I have been to the office 3 times for this issue, and nothing has been done. I honestly don't feel confident to even report issues anymore. I won't be renewing my lease.

Update: 7 weeks after I submitted original maintenance request I received a call from leasing office (same day they saw and responded to my google review) very apologetic and said someone would come out same day to look at washer. Someone did come out same day and said basically a bunch of things actually wrong with washer and they would update front office and let me know when/how it could be resolved. Today, 18 days later I received a call from the leasing office asking ME if my washer was ever fixed because they didn’t know. Honestly this story just keeps getting better and better. I previously would visit the office any time I had an issue but now I don’t bother. What’s the point. I’m just waiting till my lease is up so I can move. The new office staff has thrown like 2-3 apartment pool parties since they arrived but can’t take time to take care of backed up maintenance requests. This is a very sad story."

"I would unfortunately NOT recommend living at the Belmont Apartments. We had property stolen from the parking lot and was told by management that they were unable to pull footage from security cameras, and never notified other residents of the incidence. Upon moving out, we were charged unjustly for non-existent damage (normal wear of living) and were told our apartment had pet damage when we do not own a pet. I am glad we moved to a different location."

"Living here, the cons definitely outweigh the pros. Initially to move here, I did have some of the same issues as other reviewers. I had to constantly contact and reach out to the office to ensure progress in the rental process, so lack of communication on the office staff. I had SO many issues with my apartment to begin with. I was out of my apartment for a week and a half in the middle of the summer. Maintenance would come check it out and would mention that is was working. I would come home and the unit would be extremely hot. I never received any vouchers or discounts for this. Bottom line, the units are old and lack quality. This complex definitely has seen better days. Please double check parking arrangements and make sure you are aware of how far your assigned parking will be, I was lied to about my parking spot. Take pictures of EVERYTHING when you move in. When I initially moved into my apartment, I saw mold in the ice compartment in the fridge/freezer. I reached out to maintenance and they mentioned that there was no mold, despite me having pictures and uploading them. The paint that is used is VERY cheap and therefore any rubbing will cause discoloration. Please be weary that they WILL try and charge you for normal wear and tear. I left the apartment cleaner than what it was originally rented to me and I was told that they charge everyone a $150 cleaning fee. I did notify the staff that I paid $300 just to get the apartment cleaned. Stay vigilant and aware of every single condition. Do not hold back when you complete the Inventory and Conditions form, any single spot or flaw you may encounter. When people are moving out of the complex, you will definitely hear maintenance at 11PM at night cleaning the units. I reached out the officer on site, 2 times, and never received any responses back. Car break-ins DID occur and I believe roughly 20 cars were damaged. The gate is usually broken every other weekend."
