"DO NOT MOVE IN UNTIL YOU DO A PERSONAL WALK THROUGH OF YOUR EMPTY UNIT. This will be my fourth time I’ve moved into an apartment. It is by far the worst start I’ve ever had with an apartment. First, we never got a personal reach out from them for an update on our application. We had to call them on seven different occasions to finally know we were approved. We were also promised an answer by the afternoon of the time of the phone calls. Spoilers alert they never called us at all. We were informed with only a week before our move-in date that we were approved after WE reached out again. They never once reached out to us. Our move in date was set to be August 12th we had a U-Haul rented our internet and electricity set for the day however we were informed the day before our apartment is not ready for move in cause their painters and floorers did not touch our apartment yet. We then moved in August 16th told to come in at 10 when the apartment would be ready but again it wasn’t. The cleaners hadn’t even started so we had to wait an extra hour and a half to start moving. I can tell yall they did nothing with the extra time they gave themselves. Flooring was still a problem, the painting was slapped together and already cracking in my room. The smoke detectors were all either not in place or had dying batteries. As well as the place was still filthy on the floor my feet were covered in dirt and bits while walking INSIDE the apartment. Lastly there was a line of ants walking right in front of my bedroom entrance from the AC unit to behind the dryer unit. There are even more problems we have faced than the ones I’ve listed. As well as I have talked to some fellow tenants and apparently we are not the first to go through this crappy and disrespectful experience. With all the money we spent and the issues we faced this apartment was not even close to where it should’ve been. I am deeply disappointed and have felt very disrespected throughout this time. I hope you reconsider living here until management can take proper care of their apartments and their residents.
Update: Jen the multi property manager reached out to me personally and we have started to work towards an understanding. This was a great first step by them and shows they want to make things right. Thank you Jen. Will update review after repairs have gone in."
"Summerbrook apartment has been the most delightful place to live at. I moved in in November. Struggling to find a place. These people went beyond my expectations to get me into a place. I'm so grateful. The community is fantastic. My neighbors are fantastic. Everybody sticks to each other and I recommend renting a place through this place because it is amazing. Love you Brandon! You're the best!"
"By far worst place i have ever lived over 250$ in hidden fees are to be expected, I have two young toddlers PARKING IS ABSOLUTELY HORRID IF YOU GET OFF WORK LATE YOUR NOT PARKING! There has been several times ive gotten home late and had no where to park, having to use a fake name to post this, because if they figure out that you bash their names, they’ll make your life here even more of a living hell trust me, save yourself some time and please do not move here, don’t let me get started on Kim by far the most disrespectful, rude person i ever met Loves to charge late fees, even if you give them a notice saying that your paycheck hasn’t hit your account yet. They still will charge you over $165 on top of your rent probably boosted $100 miscellaneous fees. oh, and by the way, they have a contracted towing company so anytime your car gets towed. They are getting paid just so y’all know that they said that they don’t get paid but they do so when you wake up in the morning and you’re late for work because your car is gone, you know who to thank, currently lawyering up because this is ridiculous the way that they treat people and try to get every last dollar out of you really hope somebody sees this comment and it saves them the hassle in the long run"
"Everything was great when Brandon used to Call me, but now my pregnant fiance get harassing texts and emails from Kim instead making false allegations about my bank account being frozen and demanding cashier's checks. I went down with the cashier's check immediately because my account wasn't frozen and had sufficient funds so I had no issue getting the check only to be accused of being aggressive when I had made no aggressive act and merely have dark skin and a deep voice . 1/5 stars."
"I genuinely wish I had found this place years ago. This is by far the best apartments I’ve ever lived in. Brandon has been amazing from the get-go and has helped me way more than he needed to. Both Brandon and Kim have been super helpful, especially since the hurricane and have taken care of all of the residents . Kim was out here with no electricity and food was provided and food trucks . You can tell they take pride in the complex , the property itself is so well maintained and feels more like a resort . My kids are so happy here !"
