"Do not rent here unless you're fond of mold, dead animals, sinking floors and ceilings, horrible management that lies to you.
We should have known better, but moved in anyways. Our apartment was supposed to be ready the first of the month. We move down to find out it's still being fixed. 2 weeks later, we finally got to move in and there has been nothing but issues! Management hasn't been any help! She blames the owners, but then does what she's told and lies!
There are way better places for your money!

Update: Here is a video of the one unit next to us. Sorry the video doesn't go all the way through. The floor started to give away and i couldn't go any further without falling through! This is a small example of what you are surrounded by there. Once we are given the ok to post the rest (that are far worse), I will do so!"
"Don't rent here!! Season's Beachfront management is horrible. There have been 5 new people in the office since April. No one can give an answer as to when things will get fixed when problems arise. The office manager, Shasta will tell you one thing and then flat out lie and say she never said that. Mold was everywhere in our apartment both before and after Beryl, sagging ceilings, cracking walls, floors separating, constant issues with the smell of natural gas, pest issues daily, dead rodents in vacant apartments above and below ours, no insulation below our floor due to the apartment below us being deemed unlivable. All these things attributed to my family getting sick with headaches, chronic sinus infections, unexplained fatigue, respiratory issues and the list goes on.
Don't move there!! They sent an astronomical bill of "charges" to us after being told we could get out of our lease. Liars and thieves... my family couldn't take the deplorable living condition so any longer."
"Living across the street from the ocean is absolutely amazing. But the apartment complex sucks, they don't repair problems not because a workmen don't want to, but it's not in the budget. I had a hole in my ceiling with a 5 gallon bucket to catch water for 4 months until I moved out and they refuse to fix it. I had black mold and they refused to let me out of my lease until I finally caught the owner and made him feel sorry for me. Then they were gonna charge me extra ann had to write a letter asking them not to they. Refunded me the money they had charged.. This was the worst apartment I've ever lived in. Don't go there. Wash you want to live with black mold."
"I have lived here for 2 years and I can’t say enough good things about Shasta and the staff here. Any problems that occur are promptly resolved in a professional and friendly manor the apartments and grounds are kept clean and I always see the maintenance staff hard at work even early morning someone is cleaning the washers and dryers. On a scale of 1 to 10 compared to the other apartments complex’s in Galveston it is a 10!!"
"I am taken back by some of these reviews. People are saying how great the office people are ( the good ones have gone & Shasta is a lier ) and how clean the place is, etc... Its baffling! This place is the next Antiguas! The news should come visit!
Not only is our apartment a wreck and full of black mold with our ceiling and floors sagging, but the outside is just as bad! Not only that, but the engineers that came to look at our apartment after the hurricane, told us it was unsafe due to structural damage! They say that maintenance is "on top of it" and "hard workers"... yet, they just tried painting over our molded ceiling and we have texts from the apartments checking to see if our old work orders had ever even been addressed, because they arent keeping up with it!
The pool is rarely kept in decent condition. 3 or 4 days after it gets clean, its already turning green. The tenants dont take care of the place. They leave the pool area and parking lot destroyed after their parties. There's dead rats laying around, beer cans laying around. During one of the late night drunken pool parties, the drunks fighting decided to slap my truck instead of one another. I mean, the list goes on and on!
We were told of this amazing gym that was in the works as well, yet that never happened!
I'm posting a ton of pictures to show exactly what it looks like around here atleast half of the time.I could go on and on, but more than anything, I just want people to know what they are signing up for, because it's not worth it!

They are just now trying to "patch" everything from the hurricane 6 months ago! My guess from being in construction is that their claim didn't get approved because there is no professional companies there fixing the issues!"
