"This place is the worst!!! Stay away. I’m having to dispute a collection that they sent and I had no idea this was being sent to collections. Email I sent to the office prior to moving out and never got a response!! lol ok at the pictures. There was mold all over and infested with fleas/roaches! All those 5 star reviews that you see are probably fake and done by the manager.
There was also a lot of break ins.
Where did those extra fees come from? I never got a reply on that. I hav e always made all of my payments on time. You all should be fixing all the issues I have going on in my apartment?? On top of that, you all have gone up on my rent without a notice! This is not ok. I wasn't even aware that new management had taken over either. I have pictures with date stamps of when I took them as well as when my neighbor took hers on the wall that was cracking from my side and her side! Her balcony door at one point even fell and hit her dog. This has gotten only worse!
I have also been in the office to discuss the issues I have in my apartment and no one has made time to even reach out and check in. I went in June, July, August and now I'm communicating this to you all by email and I prefer it to stay that way. So please respond to the email. I was told that in September there would be contractors on the property fixing the issues but that never happened. My neighbor who has moved out since had the same issues with the walls, mold, roaches, fleas, bathroom cracking, ceiling walls cracking, balcony floor cracking, uneven floors, and feeling the building move when it's windy. Not sure if this is the foundation, but this is not a habitable/healthy place to live in. I have mentioned all of this in my move-in inventory list as well! I have gotten sick several times from the mold. I have cleaned it off and it only keeps on returning. I have also tried to avoid humidity, but that hasn't helped! It has also affected my mental health as this is not something I have ever experienced. Also, I have seen that in the parking garage there's pieces of cement from the building that's supposed to be holding the apartment complexes breaking. How is this even safe?
I have been getting multiple calls due to the balance that I have asked to tell me what this is for. I have paid my rent and this balance is outside of what normally was due for my rent! Kathleen or whoever that was called me and said that it was for utilities. How does that even make sense? Do you understand that calling me and giving me a notice to vacate is also considered harassment? Especially when I have fulfilled by paying my rent and you all have gone up on my fees without an explanation to it.
November was my last month here as I gave my 60 day notice to Alex. I will contact a lawyer if needed. I will contact the city/media so they can come and inspect the property if this continues. They should see how you all have us all living here. I know of previous tenants that had an inspector come in and have the results. I will be dropping off my keys."
"Love this place. I've stayed with a friend for weeks at a time. Now I am planning on moving here soon. Very quiet. Friendly neighbors, pet friendly with a cool dog park. Everything is nice and clean . Nice little gym and pool. Can't wait to be here full time."
"A little history: I lived at Oceanfront from 2012 - 2013 when the property was owned and managed by Arcadian Communities. I found Oceanfront to be a great community with amazing views, friendly staff and low-maintenance. The Arcadian manager (Vickie) was fantastic to work with and made sure that all my maintenance needs were met. They made my stay at oceanfront very enjoyable. In 2013, right before my lease ended, Arcadian Communities sold this property to First Capital Advisers. From what I understand, First Capital Advisers made false promises to residents, some of which included Apartment renovations, new amenities, etc. First Capital Advisers also rented to unqualified renters who couldn't pay rent. It's because of First Capital Advisers that Oceanfront now has a tarnished name. In February 2019, Oceanfront Apartments was purchased by Nova Asset Management Company.
April 2019: I am returning to Oceanfront Lofts! The new staff (heather in particular) are fantastic to work with and are completing renovations on apartments! The new look is great and they are putting a lot of money into restoring the property, grills, pools, tennis courts and all the other amenities. There is still a LOT of work to be done and Nova is making excellent progress.
Oceanfront Lofts is close to dining, shopping and is just steps away from the Seawall and beach. Oceanfront has covered open parking with lots of space. Each unit includes a large storage room (quite large actually), an ocean view and updated appliances and countertops. There are laundry facilities on each floor that are free to residents.
Oceanfront Apartments still needs lots of work but seeing as though Nova just acquired this property two months ago, more time is needed to bring things up to their higher standard."
"Big thank you to Scarlett and Alex for helping me find a new home on the island. It looks like a quiet place and the residents I met were friendly. Looking forward to not having to climb up flights of stairs and having covered parking I don’t have to pay extra for. The apartments have a nice view of the water from the balcony as well"

UPDATE: Unfortunately, they were just being nice to get us moved in. The honeymoon phase was very short lived. The elevators, both of them, broke during our move-in. There were many issues right after the move in. The simple issues were taken care of and that was about it.
Pathetic property management company. It seemed the office and maintenance team had their hands tied by upper management. A male with the last name of Patel representing himself as a manager, told me I moved in with intensions of just complaining. We had days our heater could not get our apartment above 64degrees in the winter. in March we had mornings our apartment was 86 degrees by 8:30 am! Had many issues with their HVAC system. Excuse after excuse. Thankfully I kept good records and a paper trail to cover ourselves.
In the five rough months we were there they replaced the entire staff from the manager to the maintenance team. They fired the entire team leaving the apartments with no maintenance personnel. They had to bring people from some of their other properties. Truly a nice property that has been completely neglected.
If you do move in do yourself a favor and log everything. After the third week I bought a notebook to keep a log: Date, time, who I spoke with, and what was discussed.
