"The Phoenicia experience is looking into a world of international foods. Mediterranean food and some items remind me of my Middle East travels. The cheese, dates, bread and teas take me back to places I’ve enjoyed visiting. The shawarma and the salad bar are my favorite lunch but there’s so much more. You’ll need to visit."
"Been here twice, first time the manager was very nice, helpful, the second time the manager changed, I’ve had bad experience with the wall being thin so much, that you can hear the people loudly stepping above, I couldn’t sleep, noises outside, the smell was weird, the shower didn’t work right, so I had to cancel my vacation here because of that, and because of unmatched prices, the new manager did not refund the money, he yelled, and threatened that he will charge me more money if I do not leave. A manager that blames the costumer for their own technical mistakes is bad. Last time was a calm and good experience, but this time was totally not recommended to stay in."
"Paul is great! Super relaxed, live and let live while, somewhat paradoxically, maintaining a near-ubiquitous, friendly and helpful presence on site. Throughout our month long stay, our interactions with Paul never hinted at the kind of distrusting surveillance one customarily endures as a heavily tattooed person at “economical” brand name hotels with a price point comparable to what’s offered here. When we pointed out a minor inconsistency in billing he instantly rectified the issue at hand and subtracted an entire day from our final invoice! Highly recommend to anyone who is looking for mid-short term economical lodging in the galleria area especially if you prefer to be in a nice neighborhood as opposed to right in the middle of the congestion. Basically for the price of a motel six you get a place that’s cleaner, cozier, safer feeling, in a great neighborhood, with super helpful, tolerant and personable management within walking distance of the 25, the 82 and the 33 bus lines as well as the entrance to the galleria."
"My wife made a reservation through Airbnb with them but was not able to go at the last moment due to illness. They let us cancel at the last minute for a full refund even though it was within their cancellation policy not to give us a cent back. Super nice, gracious people. I can’t speak to the units because she didn’t stay but management is definitely outstanding."
