"My visit here was for my sister that recently became a widow and I stopped and talked to Mr. Breaux. He was so kind and very informant. I took my sister to meet him and he was so helpful and considerate of her needs and showed her around, making her very comfortable. He is definitely an asset to the community. I am so happy to know she will be around such helpful n kind people who truly serve you and make you feel heard and cared."
"I have been here about 4 years. We had some damage to our complex during the freeze. We have a construction crew been here remodeling. It is looking so nice the colors i love. They are working hard and doing great job They are painting . The promises that were made are being fulfiled. I am thankful i stuck it out."

"Where do I even begin if I could give no stars I certainly would & it's obvious no one reads the reviews cause if they did maybe some of the problems would be taking care of but I'm gonna write this anyway so I can save someone the time to not apply here. Moving in is great cause they tell you all the good things to get you in & once you are in the frustration begins & the I'm not concerned begins. I feel bad because I got my mom into this place & I regret it every single day because I wish I had looked at more places before choosing to go with this one I will say it could be a much better place if they got rid of the management they have up in there get some people who actually care about the elderly residents instead of sitting to your desk acting all nonchalant as if nothing matters & yes I'm referring to the one manager Pat it's sad that you have to ask more than once to get things done sometimes 4 or 5 times & that is ridiculous. You can't get real cable you got to get what they offer and that goes out when the weather gets bad my mom couldn't watch tv over the weekend cause her cable or whatever that is they got was out not to mention you can't go there in peace cause other residents letting their dogs run free with no leash but love to say Oh my dog is friendly who cares I don't want dogs running up to me licking on me or even touching me & dogs get in bad moods just like a human so therefore keep your animals on a leash like they suppose to be & it's always that one little click who does this the gossiping click......The list goes on and on I promise you it does but I don't have all day the bottom line is if you care about your loved one as I do look further than Kingwood Senior Village cause there is no compassion here & My Mother will soon be away from here and will not be looking back I wish I had known about Deerbrook as I do now cause that's where she would be......I pure hate this place bad management can make any place look bad........"
"I have been very happy since I moved to these apartments. Maintenance repairs things on time. It is a very private place to live. You can be as social as you want here. I don’t plan on moving anytime soon."
