"So the manager at Costa Verde illegally changed my cousins lock on him while his mother and son were there (she was baby sitting) kicked them out and told her she was not allowed back on property. This was done with no notice or eviction. He calls and tells them he is going to put everything in writing on an email and would like to know why his door is locked. Keys we’re given back because again, this is illegal with no eviction processed. He had to put a sign up on his own unit for her not to LOCK HIS DOOR. Yesterday, he returned home and this is AFTER the office is closed and catches her DIGGING through his cabinets. She immediately got scared and left. (This is recorded) police were called out for a report. Things were all over the place, there was flour spilled all over the floor, there was dog or cat waste (not sure what this part was about) and she decided to steal $250, a barber box, jewelry, and other items out the apartment. Legal actions are being taken and Wilhoit company will be contacted about their employee and charges are pending. Please share!!! Some people abuse their authority! As a property manager I know protocols and I also know some people should NOT be in this industry. People like this have full access to your home so please be aware!!! "I’ve lived here on the property before for about 5 years or so. My family was always treated as such....family. After moving a way for a while, I decided to come back to where we were treated so kind. Whenever I call for maintenance it seems as if I can’t hang up fast enough and they are there. The staff always greet me by name, even when I call. My neighbors are friendly as well. If there is ever an issue, the office staff are quick to handle it. Tara is simply God sent. She’s very attentive, professional, and understanding. She and Amanda was the reason I moved back and resigned my lease. Thanks for treating my family as your own. Blessings ?"
"Do NOT rent here. The manager, Susan, will lie and steal from you! She was caught in a residents unit stealing valuables and trashing their place!!! Charges are pending and information has been posted to Facebook as well."
"I just moved out of these apartments. They have their good and they have their bad. Mrs. Daloris is a blessing, she let's kids come after school and helps them with homework as well as plans many fun activities for them. They ladies up front are friendly. I expected as living on the first floor to hear the people upstairs. Never complained. Didn't expect to hear the lady directly behind my bedroom on the phone talking normal and hearing every word she said. Still didn't complain. The pool is nice but always full with people that don't live there. Gate is always broke. They fix it and within a couple days broke again. Dont let your kids draw with chalk on the sidewalk because your neighbors may call the police as this happened to me. I advise anyone that moves here to keep video recording of everything. After moving in 3 units in my building moved out, they sprayed the empty apartments and immediately my apartment was infested with roaches coming through the vents. I complained several times. They sprayed my apartment 3 times with no effect. I did not bring them with me. Allen with Green Tree pest control in brazoria is the best and always kept my previous home free of roaches. I have pictures of the infestation. I spent hundreds of my on dollars trying to fix it. Had to throw away a sound bar, toaster, blender, 4 mattresses and a TV. Had to leave my couches and buy new ones. There is no reason for me and my kids to have roaches crawling on us as we sleep. Jumping on us as we reach for a cup out the cabinet. To have to clean the stove several times in a day of roach droppings to the point I quit cooking. My fire alarms would randomly go off at all hours of the day/night. I work shift work and this was a huge issue. I complained and they suggested for me to change the batteries but would send Maintenance to look at them. They never came. I called and left a message. Never heard back. After changing the batteries and resetting the alarms they started to continuously go off. I had to take them out the ceiling just so I could sleep. After talking to several other residents I found out that it wasn't just my unit but all units that has issues with the a/c. My second bd the air didn't blow in there causing it to be extremely hot/cold. My children were waking up in wet bedsheets because of sweat and they have asthma. The buildings were poorly designed though that's not the Maintenance or front office fault. If they would have fixed my fire alarms and got rid of the roaches I would have stayed and upgraded to a 3bd. But now I got a final bill and they are charging me for spraying for roaches after I moved out yet they never fixed it while I was there. Feel bad for whoever is moving into unit 4101. They knew I wanted to move out after I had only been there 4 months. I almost bought out my lease but had a feeling they would leave the apartment open making me still pay the full rent so I stuck it out. So much for giving you 24 hr notice of entry because they leave the note on your door late in the afternoon around 4 or 5 and will show up early in the morning for "routine" inspections. I lost a lot because of their lack to control the pest and I know they won't replace the things I lost or reimburse my money. Oh dont let your kids make friends here because if those friends have bikes that they leave in front of your apartment you will get in trouble. Also dont let your kids do a good deed like help another boy to free his foot from the gate because they will call you saying your kids are playing with the gate and after you whoop your kids thinking the front office is telling the truth and you find out the truth from witnesses you'll feel real bad for whooping your kids."
"I actually really enjoy living here. The walls are pretty thin which can be a nuisance when hearing people in the floor above me but I have a first floor apt so that’s somewhat to be expected. Maintenance responds really quick and the office staff is top notch!"
