"The current Manager, Khayya is a dedicated and knowledgeable manager. She communicates very well with the residents. After Beryl hit we discovered our complex was hit pretty hard, as well as most of our neighboring communities. I feel safe, secure and well taken care of because of the communications the office staff gives us. Always willingly to go the extra mile for us. A lot of the current residents are long-term which helps in making friends within our community."
"this is one of the best apartment complexes on the island I would recommend anyone to live here. I lived here for almost 2 years and I enjoyed every day. The staff is amazing here they always have activities. The pool is always clean and the gym equipment is great. I had unit 103 and in my opinion that’s one of the best units in the complex. Maintenance is great and they really work hard at keeping the property beautiful. It’s walking distance to the beach and nearby soccer park and walking trail. It’s so nice that I’ve added a little video. I’m truly going to miss this apartment and my experience here and if you’re looking for a safe comfortable place to live then Campeche Cove is it."
"I lived at Campeche for 1 year. Although imperfect the staff is wonderful, it’s located within walking distance from the beach and the amenities are super convenient. My 1 bedroom was the best deal I could find for affordability and convenience (washer/dryer included). The only thing holding it back from 5 stars are the pest issues, no microwave, and maintenance problems which are to be expected with an older building."
"I moved in a month ago. Site unseen as I was in another state at the time. Cecilia told me I wouldn’t be disappointed and when I walked in my first day, I was so happy. Windows, bright, and open. Larger than I had anticipated. I have felt safe since I’ve lived here. Their newest maintenance man, Randy, is such a wonderful, well manned and very knowledgeable! Keep this young man here. Kudos to the staff ? Mary Steetle"
"I moved in last August. At first things were great, no issues other than minor ones the were rectified after putting in a service request. Recently however, I have had problems with cockroach infestation. They have sprayed to exterminate these roaches three times this month and I'm still seeing roaches.
I went to the office yesterday to complain(always new people to deal with), they said they were hiring another extermination service. Apparently my whole building was sprayed last week but by still no relief from the roaches. If things do not change, I will be looking to move when my lease is up this coming August. I hope things do change, other than the roaches I have no other concerns.
I leased an apartment with Campeche Cove in Galveston from July 2023-July 2024. I moved out before my lease was up and I still haven't received my deposit back. Yidera Bustamente, the manager told me during the final walk through that she would email me a detailed statement of what was subtracted and what I will receive, I never received anything from her. I called last Thurs. 9/12/24, I talked to Amanda and she told me that she would call me back with an answer to the where about of my deposit, I never heard back from her. I called again on Fri. 9/13/24 and spoke to Jeanette who told me Amanda was out and that she would call accounting and let me know something either that day or at the latest Saturday. It's Sunday 9/15/24 and I haven't heard back on where my deposit is. I will submit a Google review on my experience on the short sightedness and lack of customer service with this property."
