"The apartments are affordable, great location, they’re quiet and safe. However, when I first moved in, half of my apartment was already falling apart. I told the office (different management) and they didn’t care, so hoping I won’t get charged for any of this when I move out. Anytime it gets too hot, the floor’s glue starts coming out, the washing machine and dryer never worked and they kept it here and refused to fix it or remove it, among a lot of other issues. There’s a nonstop infestation of roaches so can’t leave any food out. The office ignores most of my emails and my concerns. I have 2 little kids and my bathroom is covered in mold and also the air vent. They came and sprayed a primer to cover it that should not be used for mold and closed out the tickets. My whole bathroom is rotting and smells so bad like wet walls and attracting flies from the mold. I really hope my babies do not get sick from this. I’m tired of dealing with this ongoing issue for many months. It is not safe and this is illegal!!!!!!
And my money gets stolen in the laundromat since the machines don’t work right. My neighbor did a hit and run on my car too and damaged it. The apartments all have foundation issues and there’s no ramps on the side walks besides one near the office."
"Completely infested with every type of roach you can think of, a/c units are too small and don't cool the apartment. 1-3 times per month there's no hot water or fairly often no water at all, they charge you extra to park anywhere near the buildings and if you do not want to pay extra you're made to park way far away.. they have a sign by the road that reads 'pet friendly ' which is a joke because if you have pers they're also charged rent. And if you happen to have friends or family that have pets, lets say a dog, and they come to visit you will be in violation of your lease and threatened with eviction.. simple little things like the window blinds that are already in the apartment before you move in of they're 9ld and worn out you're expected to pay them extra so they not you can replace them with another set of dollar tree blinds that will most definitely fall apart as well..etc.... having lived here for almost 2 years I can assure you that I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone.. I personally regret signing the lease and as soon as I can afford to do so, I am moving out."
"I live here currently and there not really into black people here it’s mostly old people who are sick and can barely take care of there self maintenance guys do what they can but arr under staff and BAYWOOD does not offer enough supplies for them there are roaches pool is almost never clean for the kids if you have nowhere to go like me you would make it work but most definitely not a dream place to stay oh yea you can’t play your music on 10 or they will report you old people watch you and report all day here if your black looking here find better I only got this apartment because I paid the whole year off you do the math!!"
"The upgraded apartments are affordable and clean. I’m very happy with it. I love the new countertops in the kitchen. Overall my family has enjoyed it here, no place is perfect but as long as management is trying and stays willing to address any issues that’s all I can ask for."
"I lived and worked there. I have countless picture of every Buliding with roaches and Vivian now wanting to fix anything at all. I have countless picture of mold all in the vents and bathrooms and a lot in the living rooms. It’ll take her 3 months to fix a leak in the roof like she did in Buliding 2. The roof is in piece and she doesn’t want to replace it. If I can give them a zero I would. And on top of that the manager Vivian discriminates against people and makes it hard for people of color to get an apartment. She’ll ask 3 Times the deposit but will let a white junky move in for a very low deposit. The apartment are old and falling apart in the inside and she don’t replace anything unless you threaten her to call haa. She cheap and rude and waves everyone off to no talk to them at all. Some apartment buildings even have bed bugs but she won’t tell you any of that. Police get called out there everyday for something different. Is the worst place to live and work. I know from experience. And if you break something in your unit she’ll try to blame you and make you pay for anything and everything. Don’t move out a leave the stove with any kind of dirt and she’ll charge you $150 to clean the stove. I can go on about that property everyday."
