"We’ve lived in this apartments for roughly 3 months and so far it’s been a pleasant experience. The apartments are somewhat clean. I only give it 4 stars because the dumpsters are overflowing with trash sometimes. But our family feels safe. We have 360 cameras in our surrounding apartment and everything seems calm tow truck comes every night which to me seems fine. Maintenance comes in a fairly short time period when ask and they’re nice. No roaches inside the apartment but lots outside so if the door stays open they do come in. Overall I would recommend this place especially for families. This complex it’s a very family friendly community."
"I've lived at Aventura on Briar Forest for 2 years and recently upgraded to a larger unit on property. This is the first complex in Houston that I've rented two separate apartments from and that is for good reason. It's a pretty central location and it's relatively easy to get to I-10, which is important for me as I work in the Heights. The grounds are very well kept, and the apartments are very cute and spacious. Maintenance has always been very nice, professional, and most importantly they are very responsive. If anything took longer than a day to complete I was made aware of the expected timeframe, and that has only happened once in the 2 years that I've lived here. The staff in the front office is also very responsive, but I don't have to reach out them very often because I haven't had many issues since moving in here. It's pretty quiet and there is a ton of resident parking. The biggest con is that there isn't a ton of visitor parking, but that hasn't been a huge issue for me. My guests just have to walk a bit sometimes."
"Worst apartment and management. We have too much roaches at our place. The treatment is not a permanent solution for the roaches. Also I'm allergic to the cockroach spray. I have breathing issues. Also we a mole in the wall. It took a month to solve the issue. After that I got severe asthma issues and a month It took time for me to recover from that.lots of roaches and dog poops in lawn."
"Decent value; however, some of the residents are not taking care of their units. One of my neighbors had a dog and did not take the dog outside on grass. The dog was only let out on their porch so there was dog urine and dog feces on their porch. I consider that animal abuse and it was really disheartening to walk by everyday."
"Our neighbors left the trash out almost every night. We would come home at night and see cockroaches running around. Recently, they started smoking weed a few times a week and the smell went through our vents. It gave us major headaches and our pets sneezed constantly. To make matters worse, our Amazon delivery was ripped open today. They didn’t find anything of value to steal, but they left their trash in front of our door. We’re definitely getting a camera!"
