"If you are looking for a quiet, safe and very nice place, this is it. In addition to having beautiful and well-kept facilities, the administration and maintenance staff are excellent, especially Lakisha and Erin. They do an exceptional job."

"I’ve been living in Ashford Lakes Apartments for a year now, and it’s been great! The people are nice, it’s peaceful, and we have get-togethers for special occasions with tasty snacks served nicely. We really love the festivals organized by Ashford Lakes here. They’re helpful and make sure everyone living here is happy. The atmosphere is joyful and calm And it’s Neat and Safe .The apartment designs, pool, gym area are good and has a proper hygiene , behind apartments there is a cool lake and nature trail is connected to the community, which is awesome. The leasing office is also fantastic; they have a good coffee machine with lots of different flavors. Overall, it’s been a wonderful experience living here. All thanks to the beautiful people handling this community they are really helpful and cooperative

"This place is beautiful. It’s surrounded by nature and has a super convenient access gate to Terry Hershey park. The staff was friendly and attentive, especially Robert and Tony who make up the property team. The only thing that could have made these last 15 months better was having the gates fixed sooner when they broke - it was often weeks or even a month before the gates would be closed and functioning like they are designed to. Overall great place to live"

"Ive been a resident here for 1 years now, and renewed my lease for another, its a nice place to live, and the community is cool, but ive had 2 break ins in my vehicle, and just today, all 4 of my tires have been stolen overnight. Although its a gated community, and they have cameras set up, I doubt the apartment will do anything about it, given they haven’t cared in the past"

"My yearly update 2023:

I'm revising my edit, but I'd like to keep my original review below. The front desk team has gone a long way since they first started and things are doing ok.

I had an issue with getting my carpet cleaning scheduled - two times I was "confirmed" but nobody came and I wasted my PTO waiting for them. Naturally, I was upset.
Eventually, this did get resolved.

-----

Overall, I'm really disappointed with how the new management has been handling this beautiful property. It was well maintained when I moved in during late 2020, but things have sloped downwards ever since.

I had a really honest and detailed review of my experiences here as a tenant ever since the new management has taken over, it was honestly a list of things Turquoise literally could easily do much better but I doubt she cares. She won't be able to do anything. We live here but this is just her place of work. It doesn't affect her when our gates are always broken and open, and it doesn't affect her when the ducks are accidentally leaving the lake property and getting run over by cars on the road.

I used to feel like I was getting the value of my rent and whatever here, but that has changed. The rent has increased but the quality of everything has gone down."

"We took a tour on 4/5/2024, from the start, the leasing agent was standoffish and did not seem to want us there, despite us arriving in a time window we told the day before, was acceptable. We were encouraged to ask questions but received either snarky or lecturing replies. When asking about pets, the leasing agent proceeded to call my dog "aggressive" at least ten times and lectured us on why my dog was "naturally aggressive", having never met my dog. If this is the level of professionalism, respect, and common courtesy at this apartment, I doubt that the average for the area units are worth it. Consider another option if you are looking to be treated respectfully my management."
