"Just moved into a one bedroom with loft. The neighborhood is both lively and residential with an HEB nearby, as well as the Spots park and Buffalo Bayou. Overall, it's nice living here."
"I am a new resident here and I wanna start off by saying the staff is amazing and extremely helpful. Andria especially, went above and beyond to make sure I got into my loft, From the tour to the move in!! Her communication skills made the process super easy and she was so helpful during my move when I wasn’t present. So the team here is GREAT.♥️
Now about the property, it does have its flaws but it is an older property. Your definitely paying for the location and convenience of everything around and not the amenities. Although I am in love with my unit, the building itself does need more upkeep. Garage doors are usually propped open but that’s about the only doors I’ve noticed. Which doesn't bother me because if my phone is dead, it isn’t an issue. So far I am loving living here."
"Be cautious to rent here. I've lived in this complex for 2 years and this past year with the new office manager have been horrible. Not only have our elevators been broken, garage gates broken, pool shut down from the health department for months this summer I have a water leak in my apartment. The maintenance and office have known about this issue since October. It's January and the issue hasn't been resolved and now I have a huge hole in my living room ceiling.
The office blames maintenance. The maintenance tech barely showed up after it was allegedly "fixed" in November.
Do you think the office would help or provide compensation? Nope. Denied as they "resolved the issue each time I notified them". 2 stars only for the location next to HEB and Park Access. They are negligent and show little care for the property."
"The best thing about Arlo is its location! The building and the administration have many opportunities for improvement: first, create a new system to enter the building. If you forget your cell phone or it has no battery, you have no way to get in, which happens a lot in my case.
The pool has been closed for longer than it has been open, the common areas, especially the stairs, need cleaning. Preventive maintenance should be carried out on the elevators and garage doors so that it does not end up as corrective maintenance. That being said, I must single out Ashley for her willingness and help with some of our concerns."
"Update Sept 30: still no action below despite the cursory apology below- save your money and go some place else!
Place has gone downhill over the past 1 year- trash rooms are full, trash all over the garage, hallways full of pet hair. Gates are always down. They charge an amenity fee is useless. Frequent break-ins, the damage since the May power outages is yet to be repaired."
