"Tasha has done an amazing job at accommodating my partner and I and making sure we feel happy and comfortable. The complex is in a great location and the gym is newly renovated with nice equipment. The access gate helps me feel safe and there is always ample parking. You can definitely tell that management and maintenance are working hard to make good changes here and keep the tenants happy."

Overall, it's a solid option for the price. Is it the most incredible establishment in the world? No, it has its faults like any other apartment complex, but I can't complain.
Pros: The location is great and I've never felt unsafe here. The apartments are newly renovated and clean. We ended up switching units after a few months and Tasha made the transition very smooth. It's pretty quiet most of the time. We recently had an AC issue and it was fixed within a day. The gym is always clean and organized. The pool is clean and feels like a resort. I've never once had trouble finding a close spot to park and I don't pay for reserved parking.
Cons: The hot tub hasn't been working since I've been here, along with another water feature next to the pool. That being said, they personally aren't deal breakers for me and I know management is at least aware of the issues. The car ports aren't the most visually stunning but management just sent a notice that they are going to do maintenance on them. As you've probably seen in other reviews, the towing situation is very strict. I personally got towed within ~8 hours of accidentally parking in a reserved spot. That being said, it was my fault. Also, Alister is implementing a new policy on giving warnings before towing so I doubt this will be an issue anymore.
Overall, since Tasha took over as property manager she's done a great job. For the price, I can honestly say Alister is a good option as someone who just moved to HTX. Is it going to knock your socks off? Probably not, but then again you are getting what you pay for."
"My car had all its tires stolen and this is the third time this has happened here this year. No cameras have been installed yet
Had on and off issues with various neighbors having dogs waking me up with barking despite sleeping with earplugs in
The virtual parking permit system is incredibly frustrating. There is no shortage of parking yet tow trucks come frequently for some reason so you have to be very careful with it. Really need to bring back the dedicated visitors parking. I’m sick of asking for guests license plates
I appreciate the management teams efforts to make this place more livable but it’s becoming harder and harder to justify renewing"
"I just moved in about 2 months ago. And I was kind of in a rush so I didn’t pay much attention to the parking policy. Now I’m extremely upset. I don’t want to live at any property that has a contract allowing a tow truck to come sneaking in every night looking for cars that forgot to register. It’s sick! We pay bills to be safe and most times it’s our mother and little sibling who car gets taken during a visit to my house. Now I have to offer to help pay. The Harwin tow charges $300 as soon as they tow it. Some people just don’t have it to spend. If this happens again I want out of my lease. I’m not dealing with this scam again low/middle class. My friends apartment is 3 min away nice high rise building and I never had this problem any time I pull up to her house late to stay over."
"Avoid this complex at all costs. The community is unsafe, management is rude and unprofessional, and once you're locked into a lease, the rent skyrockets without reason. I moved out for my family’s safety and peace of mind. Look elsewhere for a safe and respectful living experience."
