"Very disappointed with my visit to the Alexan. Absolutely no parking even thought the signs say future resident parking and no one was in the office to tour. Once in the office no one greeted me. I had to walk around to find someone who was busy on their computer to then tell me they’ll be with me in a minute. Once she greeted me she asked if I had a scheduled apt. (Not what I’m looking for) I said no, she said she was completely booked and wouldn’t be able to show me until tomorrow. Again, no one in the office it wasn’t busy at all. I asked if I can park on the side because all front spots are taken, the lady told me if all parking is taken I’ll need to be buzzed into the garage. This lets me know they couldn’t care less about the rules and residents. I won’t be back to get info."
"I just moved out after living here for 2.5 years, and overall, I had a great experience. Jennifer (leasing office), Hollie (manager) and Anthony (maintenance) are amazing—always super helpful, and requests were handled quickly. I always felt safe. Contacting the office by phone it’s a bit hard—you often have to go in person for assistance. Other than that, I really enjoyed my time here!"
"Don't be fooled, the area and location of the property is great, but the apartment management and safety conditions are not it. Random 20+ people pool parties? Stolen items? Towing stickers on abandoned vehicles? Random people sneaking in? Scent of smoke all throughout the hallways? They got it all.
Luckily, my specific apartment is decent. Amenities are good including a large gym. Walking outside near the lake and galleria is nice as well, but this place is not what I'd proudly call "home".
My bike recently got stolen and instead of acting fast, management continued to stall the situation. It's been over 3 weeks since this incident happened and guess what? They're still "reviewing the footage". 0 sense of urgency, which is a damn shame. The cut lock is still on the bike rack if any of you are curious, as management never bothered to clean that up.
The issues are mostly hidden when you tour the property, so sign the lease with caution."
"I don’t even live there and I have had the worst experience here. I have gone two days in a row to tour and to get information. They are extremely lazy there. I first went there yesterday and waited for over 5 minutes before anyone even came out to greet me. Granted, no one was in the front, so I coughed, tried to make noise and even said hello really loud so someone could hear me. Lord good thing I wasn’t there to harm anyone cause I could’ve just strolled right in. I’m not sure why Houston for some reason these leasing agents don’t want to actually tour and show the apartments. So I made an appointment, even living in LA I didn’t need an appointment. Not even San Antonio, except in 2020 for obvious reasons. I have a meeting so I went online and re-scheduled the appointment for 10 am. Took a two hour bus ride to get to work early and tour the apartment so just for them to say they didn’t have any availability for a tour and did I want to re-schedule for tomorrow? Hmmm no lady. There’s clearly at least two of you there cause you went to the back and spoke to someone. That already tells me how they treat their residents. So I’ll look elsewhere. But beware thinking of this place."
"Bottoms line these are nasty and gross. Along with the exception of maybe two staff members, so are they. Big roaches, small ones, tiny ones medium. Issued me a roach infested apartment and expected me to live there “…for two months while they address the issue, and then we can work out next steps”. Excuse me?? Even their corporate office is delusional and full of it talking to professional people/residents like we are uneducated ingrates, when really if they would inspect and keep their luxury properties up to par, no one including their business would have to suffer. Do yourself a favor, DONT MOVE HERE.
Note: they never denied having a pest problem. From upper management to maintenance. “We’ve ran into issues like this before”. So clearly, they all knew what was happening beforehand and chose to ignore the problem."
"For what I was paying here, this property was mediocre!. My unit had this persistent smell, that just would never leave, even after I would clean and clean, the weird smell would never leave. The hall ways smelled all the time too, elevator were always out. Some of the apartment floor plans are odd and uncomfortable, The units are dimly lit and feel depressing! I literally hated coming back to my apartment for 1 year while I was there. Many times there were noise disturbances and several reports of strong cars. The only good thing about it is you live right Infront of the mall so that was convenient. Other than that, would not recommend."
