"I moved here excited because I loved how peaceful it looked and loved the balconies, decor, etc. I also looked forward to the absence of unnecessary fees that usually come with an apartment. Unfortunately, one of the supposed benefits of moving here became the reason of my disdain for this community especially when wanting to transfer to another unit. On top of the unnecessary and inescapable fees, the community's office only lets you know fees once they're due/appear or after you've made a decision. We have spent over $3500 simply moving/transferring (and more for other fees and reasons). Also, we have signed our new lease and we're charged for something unknown by the office and ourselves. We were forced to pay for something nobody knew about to escape another $500 fee to hold an apartment I already paid $500 initially to hold. In addition, the office kept making in person visits mandatory when we work during office hours. So we're taking off time for work to pay more fees.
We were encouraged to not transfer because we were "young" and should "save money," but they failed to mention that they were not talking about the rent, they were talking about all of the unnecessary and unknown fees that we would be charged. I asked if I needed to pay ANYTHING else after another fee and they said no. Then we got that unknown charge. Sarah, the manager has not shown empathy while not being able to answer a basic question about a charge. Nice when things are fine, but instead of trying to fix an issue, it's the tenants fault because they need to do something on their end. It's hard to dispute when it's always "the system" or "the policy"."
"These apartments are the largest in the area, and there are no I mean no roaches, Chandis Picone the new manager is incredible, she is very approachable and welcoming she is very quick to resolve problems or concerns, she does not hide from you after you have signed the lease, the whole complex is extremely clean all the time, love it!"
"I love this place. It’s peaceful, quiet and my family is safe here. Since day one everyone at the office has been extraordinary wonderful. Mrs. Sarah has been a blessing, thank you for being such an amazing property manager. I needed to downsize my apartment, I was able to do a unit transfer right in the middle of my lease. She made the process of doing so, so simple and easy. Thank you Mrs. Sarah. Also Shout out to Fidel, Bree and Kristen you all make living here feel like home. The maintenance team is top notch at Alden Landing if you put in a work order they come the same day, if it’s after hours believe me you will see them bright in early. If new to Houston and you’re moving from another state like I did looking for the perfect safe & convenient place for you and your family YOU WILL FIND IT HERE!!! Worries where???? It’s all peace here!!!! Thanks to the whole team!!!"
"Its wonderful community and I think Alden is peaceful, plenty of sidewalks for outdoor walks, pretty views from indoors, ease of getting mail and packages. The maintenance guys responds to requests required inside of the apartments very quickly. The gym, the lobby, the pool, everything is beautiful! Sara is amazing! She just made me feel like this is the place for me! She helped me with everything all the time knowing this is my first time and was always the best!! I hope I stay here for a long time."
"I've been a resident at Alden Landing since May of this year. The staff and property have been fantastic! Maintenance has taken care of all my requests either the same day or next day at the latest. Special shout out to Bri and Fidel in the office who are amazing and always happy to help! Every month the complex is usually undertaking a renovation, upgrade, refresh, or new addition. This has helped keep the property very tidy. Here's a quick list of some of the maintenance done to the property since I've moved in (that I can remember) - Repainted parking lot lines, refreshed the roof shingles, trimmed up a bunch of trees in common areas, expanded the dog park to also include a self-service bathing/grooming facility, added a brand new lounge area near the pool with a stone fireplace and TV. Overall highly recommend this complex to anyone interested in living in The Woodlands, especially families!"
