"RUN, DONT MOVE HERE.
Anyone who wants to move here, esp to this unit 1411, please keep reading. I know it’s a long winded review but y’all need to know the truth of this place. I moved here because I was told by Silas (who magically stopped working there as soon as we moved in) that this place was peaceful and quiet(which is what I need because I’m autistic and disabled) so imagine my surprise when that turned out to be a huge lie. So without further ado, here’s the List of annoying things that would’ve convinced me NOT to sign the lease if I had only KNOWN:
•ppl always blasting their speakers any time of early morning or night, Everyone is so noisy and rude about it too.
•Gunshots in the parking lot, racers always zooming down the road.
•Half the ppl who live here are too stupid to download the damn Gatewise app that they tell you to download to open the gate, so they’re always going into the wrong side or doing some dumb crap like that.
•You get a daily dose of the lovely LOUD pipes of all the surrounding houses neighborhood dogs and all the dogs here in the complex 24/7. Everyone has dogs. Abusive and Neglectful owners all around, hitting Animals, unleashed animals, dog crap everywhere. The office ppl are so agreeable in your face but they never do anything about concerns or violations. •ROACHES ?. RATS?????????? I saw RAT TRAPS and dead mice outside the apts which is just ??? Yikes. Disgusting.
•Trashy cabinets that are wonky asf, always Falling off the hinges, just grotesque. •Flooding(now this one pisses me off. I went through Ike and Harvey, so now when I look for homes I ALWAYS ask about the flood levels. I was again, told by Silas, that this place was very level and didn’t flash flood. Lies again ? not only is our actual FOUNDATION of the place off balance, but it DOES flood.ALOT.
•Water always being turned off randomly bc the plumbing is old asf. (During our 12mo lease, water was turned off at least 6 times for a minimum of 4 hours and max of 2 days)?•Constantly stabbing your feet on pointy nails/staples going upstairs because they did such a cheap fast job of installing carpet onto the steps?
•Cracks bigger than my finger all along the walls and moldings and CABINETS (prob cuz they’re held together by my broken hopes and dreams.)•cracked ass paint on the walls that peels bc they layer paint on top of more paint.
•The kitchen is a roach nest bc they refuse to fix the gaping hole BEHIND OUR FRIDGE. Not to mention our front door doesn’t have a weather strip on the bottom so we get an inch of water any time it rains hard, and any bugs from outside can basically waltz right in. We have to treat the apt constantly and we cant rely on pest control one bit. •Same goes for the granite countertops. The roaches live in the poorly sealed caulk lining the sink and counters. The fact that this was renovated recently is shocking considering how bad it looks.
•The roaches ALSO like living inside the oven!!! And the cabinets!!! Did I mention don’t move here bc it’s hella roaches???
•Inconsiderate neighbors that will say you harass them for asking them to not be blasting music every day and every night at full volume. •That same inconsiderate ass neighbor being responsible for your lack of sleep the past 8 months because he likes to BLAST music as early as 7am and as late as 2am(which wakes me up every day so I get to have an autistic meltdown every day) and his neglected and beaten dog cries through the day and night as well. He told us to “wait it out” when we complained about the dogs constant wailing?
•Oh and not to mention the manager is just about the most 2 faced one in the whole staff. ignores any emails or calls or messages for her if you are having any trouble with neighbors or other concerns.no intention to solve problems here, she only wants to LOOK good on the surface level. Don’t let it fool you. Worst place I’ve ever lived. And I’ve lived in plenty a sh*thole in my life.
UPDATE: ITS BEEN OVER 2 MONTHS AND THEY WONT GIVE US OUR 500$ DEPOSIT BACK. ELSA LIKES TO PLAY WITH US LIKE A CAT DOES A MOUSE."
"The whole process went pretty smooth. I was actually surprised they were able to get me in as quickly as they did especially with my credit since I’ve been working on rebuilding it. Yasmine was very helpful and straight forward taking me through the process step by step. Let me know ahead of time there were a couple things they needed to fix in the apartment, minor issues like the ceiling fan in the bedroom but overall was very grateful and satisfied."
"Just nasty there’s also termites . The walls have large cracks / gaps in them. Every time I call to ask for maintenance to assist with filling up the cracks and fixing the issues. They give me a reason as to why they have to push the time back for somebody to come. I caught up at work on a Tuesday for the manager to come walk through the apartment with me and she didn’t even show up to work that day, even though she said that up and I advised her before hand I had to call out to be there. Don’t waste ur money or time"
"Since moving in everything has gone smoothly. From the application process, to getting settled in i havent encountered any issues. Staff is friendly, courteous and helpful. Maintenance was put in for a light and was taken care of that same day."
"They are very respectful and accommodating here. They worked with me on some areas that helped me with getting my application approved. I also appreciate that they give residents their privacy and space but not in a neglectful or careless way. Every concern Ive brought forward to them, they immediately got fixed or replaced. There was a small lack of communication at first which made the move-in process somewhat difficult, but once I finally got in then everything has been great and I would highly recommend this complex to anyone looking to rent here!"
