"Honestly I have so many grievances with this apartment but overall I would NOTTTT reccomend. Here’s a brief why:
No notifications of construction: They were servicing a sprinkler system right outside my door while I was working from home. They started at 7am too, but if they would’ve told me I could have gone to the office.
Not professional communications: They sent me a rude email telling me to take down my decorations. I would’ve understood if they asked nicely, but chose to insult my choice of decorations instead.
Multiple times, Called to see if the pool was open and they said they would find out and left me on hold for 20 minutes and never got back to me with an answer. So I hung up and called again then they finally sent someone to unlock them bc it should’ve been opened?
I have a friend that visits me often but she’s handicapped in a wheelchair, and the nearest elevators have been out for 4-5 months with ZERO notice to when it will be operational. They just put up a piece of paper and haven’t sent out any communication or have even attempted to fix it.
The resident and leasing gate gets broken somehow at least every 3 weeks. That’s not to mention if you forget or leave your key fob in your apartment good luck getting back in…You’re literally trapped until another resident comes in.
I happily moved out in September but these are some of the points that I vividly remember."
"I am very disappointed with my experience at this apartment complex. One of the staff members, who is a gay man, has been consistently rude and unwelcoming, showing little willingness to help or explain even the simplest issues. Additionally, the elevator has been broken for months, and management has indicated they are not willing to fix it anytime soon. This beautiful property has so much potential, but it is let down by unfriendly staff. I cannot recommend living here until significant improvements are made."
"High Point Uptown is a great place to live. There are a lot of community events and the staff is very friendly and understanding. The amenities are excellent for small business owners and work from home employees. They just changed out the furniture in the social lounge and it looks really nice and professional. It's also a great place to have executive business meetings and zoom calls!"
"I've lived here for a little over a month now. So far, I can confidently say that of the 8 apartment complexes I've lived at in the past 10 years, High Point Uptown has BY FAR the best front office staff. They have been incredibly kind and helpful during the move in process, and in my time here so far. The complex is clean and has great amenities, and you can't beat the area. Have not had any issues with noise, or any issues that hinder my experience here."
"Location is amazing, I love where my apartment is on the property. Amenities look nice and you can tell the office makes sure to keep them updated. The courtyards are nice and clean and I love that there are options to take my dog out for walks. Application process is long but worth it to have a good rate in Uptown."
